Great customer service!
Although this product didn’t work for me, I’m editing my original review. I was informed that this adapter is only compatible with an OMTP Standard jack earphones. I needed it to connect my Astro A50 headset to my Xbox one controller that has a CTIA Standard jack which is why it wouldn’t work for me. I applaud customer service for reaching out to help resolve my issue. Thank you!

Works, but there are better options for headphones
I bought these so I could use my Sennheiser HD598s with my VModa Boom Pro mic cable. While it works if you remove the plastic twist-lock mechanism from the headphone jack, the resulting connection is a little unstable, and accidentally tugging on the cable can cause it to come unplugged or cause intermittent connection issues, due to incomplete seating of the connection. If you're also in this scenario, the better option is this Kokkia adapter: https://www.amazon.com/KOKKIA-Versatile-2-5mm-Female-Adapter/dp/B07Z2MPW61. This one has a twist-lock mechanism on the plug side that's compatible with the Sennheisers (as well as Bose and Audio Technica headphones). The resulting connection is much more solid, and can't be damaged by yanking on the cable. It's more expensive, but I highly recommend it over these generic adapters. Took me forever to find it, so I thought I would save other people the trouble.Still this product does what it's supposed to, so if you don't need the locking mechanism this should work.

Audio pins
Pins work but at time feel short when touched

Works great to use a 3.5mm audio cable with Bose QC 35.
I use a couple different pairs of headphones, including QC 35 and SHP 9500. Bought this adapter to allow me to use the same 3.5mm audio cable for quick switch since the QC 35 only have a 2.5mm jack. Works great so far, just had one incident where the audio was not working, but fixed after just replugging the adapter. While the product image suggests that the 2.5mm male is meant for audio sources such as phones/mp3s, using it for headphones 2.5mm also works!

Good sound in right ear but not in left
I bought these to connect to a Cisco SPA 504G work phone so that I could use a better headset than the one that I was given for my job to improve call quality. However, upon trying them out I found that the audio was only strong in the right ear and very weak in the left ear.At first I thought it was my headset giving out. So I tried multiple headsets/ headphones and they were all the same result. I even thought it was the settings of the phone itself, but no matter what the issue remained.Update: The headset that I am trying to connect with is the Bose QuietComfort 35ii gaming headset. It comes with a mic. I decided to over look the uneven sound issue and instead just focus on using the mic. Well I made a call today and found that while I could hear the person on the phone they could not hear me. My headset is CTIA standard jack and it doesn't work. Very disappointed.

Great adapter for Sennheiser HD 598! (update product didn't work out, but customer service great)
I got tired of replacing expensive cables on my Sennheiser HD558 and 598 headphones so I took the pad off (snaps off) removed 3 screws holding the driver In place and then 2 screws holding the locking mechanism in place. I then plugged one of these adapters in. Now I can use normal headphone wires! I'm so excited to do this mod and it only took me 5 mins! Left and right work perfectly! The fit is great and it looks nice too, like it belongs.UPDATE: Well unfortunately within a few days now when I move my head it makes loud crackling static sounds. The cable just fits too loose. I've tried different 1/8" cables in it, and they all do the same thing. I pulled out the second adapter they included, and it's doing it too. The connection problem has just gotten worse. I tried to squish it down a little to make it tighter but it didn't help. In short these don't work well for headphones.Update: the company reached out to me and sent me another pair to try out, unfortunately they started doing the same thing. They did make every attempt to make me happy and did give me a full refund. I'm updating my review to 3 stars because the company stands behind the product. So rest assured if you have problems they will 100% help you. I'm very satisfied with their customer service. Also,I think if your needs are for an adapter that won't see much movement they will work fine. In my case they start out working but as I use my headphones the connection eventually gets too lose which casues the static when turning my head.

Nice Adapter
Edit: The seller refunded half my money when I received a bag with only one adapter. It's a good adapter.Good service from the sellerOriginal review:The little plug looks like good quality, I am waiting to open it until I see what they are doing for my return.I purchased this pack of 2 and received a sealed bag with only one inside (see pictures).I wouldn't care too much if it didn't cost $8.55I tried to start a return but they want me to send back the adapter NOW and I won't get the replacement for 2 monthsMake sure you are willing to pay full price for only one adapter before you buy.

Very good!
I recently bought a set of bluetooth wireless headphones that have a 2.5 mm wired option. All of my devices are 3.5 mm so I needed an adapter. This one sounds good and is a nice value for the money. I only use it strictly as a headphone adapter so I am not sure how good the microphone support and other control functions are.
