This is exactly what I needed. I wanted something that I could put up and take down when I need to in order to put a foldable mattress in a spare room for when I have guests. I did not want the bed to be up all of the time because the room is relatively small and I use it as an office. The first time putting it together was a little bit of a challenge for me, but that’s just a me thing. It was very easy to put together and even easier to take down and store with the trifold mattress. It is a very sturdy bed frame .This is a great purchase. If you’re thinking about it definitely do it. It’s space-saving and easy to put up and down.

Great frame. Bought 3 total after the first one they were so nice. Very easy to assemble and sturdy. Helps not having to use a box spring and there's enough room underneath for storage under the bed. Helped declutter the stuffed animals on top of the beds for sure. Great price for this. Cant beat it!

Best investment of 2025, hands down. Product came to our door on-time. It was packaged really well. No issues, no broken or defective parts, no scratches. It was really easy to put together. My Husband was so impressed with the tool they provided, in fact he put it in his tool box for future use. They did not seem to spare expense when it comes to making this item and they put a lot of thought into the design. It can hold a lot, very sturdy, does not make a sound when on it or doing other physical activities. Wish I bought one sooner. All that for this price, it is a steal!

It was easy to put together and it is very sturdy. I have been sleeping on it for a little over a month now and it hasn’t squeaked at all or made noise and I do toss and turn a lot. There is adequate room to store stuff underneath and it’s the perfect height to sit down comfortably to put shoes on. I have only one complaint/issue. The mattress slides around on top of the bed frame so easily. I find myself constantly sliding the mattress back in place. Now, this only happens when someone bumps the mattress or sits down and it slides a little. It’s really annoying and I wish the company would have included the gaskets that go on the side to keep the mattress in place. I bought a different frame recently for my son and that did include those gaskets and it makes a real difference, he never had to slide his mattress back in place. For this reason I knocked off one star.

Bought this for a very small bedroom in a college rental home. It was so easy to move in our minivan versus a traditional bedframe and boxspring/mattress. Daughter uses a decent mattress in it without a boxspring and is very happy with the support from the metal frame. It unfolded and locked in place in a couple of minutes. Heavy to lug up stairs but in a very old house with narrow stairs and doorways plus right turns, it was SO much easier than a traditional bed.Why did you pick this product vs others?:This seemed well made with enough "slats" to provide support. The fact that others said it was easy to set up was also a plus (and true) since not having to put it together (IKEA trauma haha) was a big selling point. Price was decent and with very little room to spare, the lack of headboard, footboard or sides helped us fit other things into a tiny space.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy. We like I glad I order it because the gel mattress with springs shows the bed already in a frame and I could not find if the frame came with it. So I ordered the bed frame just in case. The mattress is very comfortable but we definitely needed the frame. It's amazing to spend 240 dollars on a well made queen mattress and 50 dollars for the frame. It is good quality for that low price. I have a craft matic bed and for the high price it's hard and not nearly as comfortable.

This is the first time I got this 14" full sized bed platform for my new full sized mattress because I wanted one without needing to purchase a box spring. I can say that after a couple days I am very pleased and satisfied with what I got.This bed platform was very easy to set up. I did it all by myself with no help. No wasting time trying to put the legs and slats together because this comes in practically two pieces. All I had to do was to follow the instructions and put the screws in for the legs and join the two metal platforms together. It is very stable on my carpet floor and is very sturdy now that I have my mattress and comforter on top. I'm only 5'0" and about 120 lbs so I don't see this platform possibly bending or collapsing from my regular use. Even if I use the bed with a heavier person on there I think it is still very stable. I have not heard any squeaking as I was rolling around and moving on my bed. I also like that they included some nonslip adhesive strips as it helped keep my bed skirt in place while I placed my new mattress on top. I didn't get a headboard so I'm not sure how easy it is to install any headboard outside of the brand.I am currently renting a room in a house and storage space has been pretty limited to me. I was able to fit a lot of things underneath the smartbase, including my shoes, styrofoam cooler, some clothes, bags, and clean containers and food jars. Pretty much any storage container under 13" in height can fit underneath the base. The diagonal bars that hold the legs in place and legs in the middle of the base are in the way, so if you have any wide and tall storage containers then you have to be a little careful. If you need to fit standard storage containers, I would recommend getting the taller smartbase such as the 16" or 18".For someone of my height with a 14" base plus 8” mattress and a 2" mattress topper, I did not have trouble getting on and off of my bed. My feet dangle about 2-3" off the ground now. I could imagine that any smartbase greater than 14" would give my bed a lot of height.Overall I am very happy that I got this base. You can probably tell that the black cat in one of my pictures is very pleased, too. I would argue that even if you don't need much bed storage space, this is a great bedroom essential to have because it is easy for one person to put together, dismantle, and move and you can easily add height to your bed without sacrificing its stability and sturdiness. And with a good bed skirt and comforter, you'll forget that you even have a metal bed platform!
