OrvalBelgian Silver Rimmed Beer Chalice

Beautiful glasses with amazing design work (originally designed by an architect in the 1930s) - love having them at home.

My sweetheart has specific Belgian beers he loves & loves to drink them in the proper glass. Bought him a bunch of new ones for his birthday last month & he loves them. All arrived quickly & were in perfect condition.

Based on the photo, I purchased this thinking it was a thick beer glass. It’s actually quite thin, almost like a wine glass. Looks nice but I doubt it will last long.

Orval has an incredibly explosive head. If you drink Orval at the proper temperature, you already know this is fact. Subsequently, if you’re fond of any beers with explosive heads, it’s a great purchase. The divergence from bottom to sides is 40 degrees — this accommodates an explosive head quite nicely.It’s also crafted nicely.

Unfortunately, very difficult to tell with online photos whether a glass is pressed (cheesy, bump on the lip, etc.) or blown like this beautiful glass. This glass has a fine drinking edge, very delicate with a nice heft. Now, my finest glass. Purchasing another.

This was purchased to replace the broken one bought at Orval Abbey in Belgium. It is identical to the one from Orval at southern Belgium. The shipping was fast.

La verdad el artículo me llegó roto, sin embargo no puedo negar que es un calice de buena calidad y bastante recomendable para disfrutar una buena cerveza de abadía o para quien gusta de coleccionar artículos cerveceros, lastima que el manejo del paquete con el correo local no fue el mejor y por eso llegó roto, al final me regreseron integró mi dinero (incluidos los gastos de envío) pienso volver a comprarlo esperando que esta vez llegue bien.
