She absolutely loves the chicken pieces—it’s the first thing she picks out of the bowl! It’s been a challenge in the past to find a food that keeps her excited at mealtime, but this one is a hit.As a pet parent, I also appreciate the thick, durable bag. It doesn’t tear or get holes like other brands I’ve tried, which keeps the food fresh and prevents messes. Overall, it’s a great product—nutritious, tasty (according to Moxi!), and well-packaged. Highly recommend for small breed dog owners!

When we got our new puppy, our Vet recommended Purina Pro-Plan. We feed him fresh, refrigerated dog food and Pro Plan. Sometimes he just wants his Pro Plan. We call them"Crunchies"! He is a picky eater, but he likes his Pro-Plan crunchies! He is a 2-year-old happy, healthy boy now, and weighs 22 pounds!

The dog is obsessed with the little misshapen bits in the food that she first picks those out and eats all of them at once and then sections out her food and eats the rest of the food. She thinks they are treats. I do not blame her. I think these are easier to chew than some other brands. I switched from the Fromm brand because I wanted to see if she would like it. May just do them both on and off. Good stuff.

Our little dog is 10 years old and is very "set" in his ways. We needed, however, to make a switch in his diet going from wet food to dry food. We tried other brands, but they were either too hard or the pieces were too large. Then others were just not appealing, and he would simply sniff them and walk away, as if to say, "You've got to be kidding!" The pieces in this Purina Pro Plan High Protein Small Breed Dog Food, Chicken & Rice Formula have a good texture and appearance, are easy for our little guy to chew (even though he is missing one back tooth) and it has not upset his stomach or given him any intestinal distress (diarrhea). It is worth the cost and is a good value for the money due to the wholesome ingredients. We are very pleased with this product!
