As someone who absolutely hates buying shoes (I wear an AFO), finding GREAT shoes ONLINE that fit, is a HUGE win! These "shoeties" check ALL the boxes! They look stylish, they fit like a glove and feel so good on my feet! They aren't flimsy and look smart enough for work and fun!

Very well made shoe. I looked at reviews and ordered a 9 wide. I could hardly get them on. It’s very tight in the instep. Luckily it has a zipper on the side. It would benefit from some elastic over instep. Odd that it has it on one of the crisscross straps, but not the other. The shoe is quite pointed, so take that into consideration also. But the deal breaker was when I stood to walk the leather part of the boot that goes up the front dug into my ankle in the front, I had to sit down right away as it was too painful to walk. Back they go…otherwise a well made shoe and aesthetically pleasing!

These are my favorite shoes. I was hesitant at first - they were stiff out of the box and I was about to return them, but decided to try them on again. I'm so glad I did! It took less than an hour for them to break in and they are so comfortable now. I'll regularly walk over a mile in them and can stand for extended periods with no issues.10/10 recommend. They seem to run true to size.

I received used shoes, at first I figured okay the soles are dirty from someone trying them on, but then I noticed the tread is worn off. I bought a size 11, I often wear an 11 in flats, but my feet are a 10.5 sometimes wide. These are a bit snug, thin socks would struggle to fit.

I bought these shoes because I have a similar pair that has worn out. Being a lifestride brand I really thought that this would be a no brainer purchase. These are the worst shoes I have ever purchased online.For one, they run small. So they were a bit snug. I never have trouble with sizing when ordering online so I actually had to check to make sure they hadn't sent me a size smaller. Despite being tight, I tried them for one day at work thinking they would loosen up. I couldn't even make it the whole day. I ended up going home at lunch to change out of them. They just don't bend with your foot. So it is almost like walking in a wooden shoe but it bends enough and is stiff enough that it actually hurts the top of your foot. I have never returned a pair of shoes on Amazon, especially after wearing them for a period of time. But these shoes are definitely going back. For $40 I expected much more.

I'm usually reluctant to order shoes online - but shoe stores are pretty much non-existent nowadays - and when you find one, the selection is limited. Plus, it is hard to find shoes in wide sizes anymore. So, back to my favorite 'store': Amazon. :-) I double - triple checked the size chart and finally felt comfortable with the size indicated - which was exactly the size that I normally buy. They fit perfectly - right out of the box; no break-in needed. I really like the style and the material; although faux leather, it looks just like leather. I'll only be wearing these with 'dress' clothes so they will probably last many years. :-) I only wear slacks/trousers - and they look perfect for that. Very happy with these shoes!
