What size is the inside square on each napkin? Appears to may be 4 X 4 is the entire napkin is 6 X 6?

I just purchased this item for machine embroidery. The "workable" inside square is 3.75". With the ladder hem included in the measurement, it is 4 x 4.

Cotton blended with linen. It says the blend is 60% linen with 40% cotton.

are these good for cross stitch patterns?

I use to do counted cross-stitch -- a lot of 18 count. I would not say this product would work well for counted cross stitch. It is woven linen. There really aren't defined squares to stitch.
