I purchased a Creative Sound Roar ll about 5 years ago as I was truly impressed with the sound quality and its features. No apps then. Fast forward to 6 months ago and bought the newer Creative Sound iRoar as it had new unique app features. Received. Apps did not work at all. Company admitted it with no plans to fix. Moved on. Spent a good deal of time looking for another Bluetooth speaker that truly sounded good. Read all the reviews I could find. Was ordering without the ability to hear a demo at a retailer. Picked the Mega Boom 3. Was concerned its cylindrical design would give me a more mono sound stage. I wanted a stereo sound. But reviews indicated design delivered. Received and after a few weeks, this unit has exceeded expectations. Simple but usable app. Great stereo sound field as well. Handles low bass content without distortion. I wanted a simple, small Bluetooth speaker without a lot of extra features that were unimportant. Unit delivered. Highly recommended!

If I could leave 6 stars, I would. Not only did it look brand new, they included the charging dock which was originally sold separately. Also it sounds incredible when you pair 2 of these together. I already owned one so I knew I'd like the sound quality, the battery life isn't bad and for the price this is a steal considering you'd probably never break it with how durable and waterproof it is.

Not sure how these are being certified and approved for resale. I just received my second Wonderboom 3. I’ve had one for years now. It still works beautiful. I’m trying to order a second to pair it with for outdoor wellness classes I teach. Thought I’d try the refurbished route to save some money and save the earth. First one I received, speaker is a bit blown. Bass crackles when you get to just a low - medium volume. And overall sound cuts in and out at higher volumes. So I processed an exchange. That process was great. Received a replacement in two days. Buuuuut, the replacement won’t charge or even turn on. Entirely useless. Won’t power up at all. What gives?

Honestly, for the price I feel like it’s not loud enough and the Bluetooth connection isn’t very good either. Signal cuts out if you get too far. Even under a tent at the beach if you sit a few feet away from the speaker it starts to cut off. I do like that you can connect multiple speakers together, but again, they can’t be too far away from each other. As a single speaker it isn’t worth it in my opinion.

-The speaker turns itself off every 15 min -Will not connect to the app using multiple different devices -Sounds good but is never on for more than 15 min at a time LOOK FOR A BETTER SPEAKER!!!!!! *****Update**** They sent me a proper speaker when I told them I had been sent a demo one. Works fine and sounds great!

So far, so good! Haven’t had any issues except every now and then my song stops playing / kind of cuts out but I think that has to do more with Spotify connectivity than the device itself, but I may be wrong. Battery lasts as advertised, sound quality is awesome! Love how in their app you can adjust the bass, treble, etc.

In total I kept the unit for 24 hours before returning. Within time window I was convincing myself that the unit was working fine and the issues i encountered were human error. In the end this refurbished UE product sucked! •unplanned powering down (4 incidents) •it would not mate (via party mode) to my hyperboom •high force input to change volume levels •sound quality was not equal to my Bose soundlink revolve (which I left out in the rain last summer therefore wrecking it) I don’t believe the 3rd company actually tested the unit before selling. Overall experience 1 out of 5. Thank goodness for amazons return policy.

I have 3 Megaboom 3, plus a UE boom 2. They all work great individually; the sound, connectivity range, battery life, the app, everything. The party-up feature is not great. Once multiple speakers are added, the range from speaker is terribly small, and results in the signal cutting in and out. Additionally, any other signals... Phones, electronic devices, physical obstructions, exceptionally loud farts.... Also disrupt the speaker-to-speaker connection. It's really quite a shame because everything else is so good.
