Garfield Slurps and Burps: His 67th Book Kindle Edition

The book is exactly the kind of antics I've come to expect from Garfield. My only issue is with the Kindle version. In all other Garfield books, you can double-tap the screen and it will show one panel at a time on the screen. That makes it perfect for reading in bed, especially with the backlight dimmed. This book has that feature, but it is flaky. You have to really fight with it to get it to snap to a single panel, and sometimes it will switch to full page view at random places in the book. Someone messed up when creating the kindle version.

The 67th book of Garfield's antics was, as always, a true treat to read. We enjoy this series of Garfield so much that we always buy a second copy as a gift for our daughter who loves everything having to do with Garfield. We look forward to book 68 this coming December!

Excellent read as always. Jim Davis writes Garfield as well as he did in 1978, although I do miss Nermal & the annual flubbed-up vacations, as well as his family & friends dropping by.

My son loves Garfield and at 43 still enjoys getting any books of Garfield. This one was no exception. I get them for him when they come out. This one just happened to tie in with his birthday. The next one should be for Christmas!

The Garfield series remains among my favourites, and I enjoyed the latest collection. However, I notice that, very slowly, the team is beginning to encounter difficulties in finding really hilarious incidents.

When there's not too much in the world to laugh about you pick up a Garfield book. They will always make you smile.
