Skepticism to Satisfaction: I admit, I was a bit wary when I ordered this. A wall-mounted ironing board? Would it be sturdy enough? Would it fold away neatly? My doubts quickly vanished as soon as I installed it. Sturdy as a Rock: This board is built to last. The heavy-duty metal frame feels solid, and the ironing surface itself is smooth. No more wobbly boards threatening to send your iron flying! Customizable Comfort: One of the things I love most about this board is the adjustable height. Whether you're a towering ironing giant or a vertically challenged warrior, you can find the perfect position to conquer those wrinkles. Simply install it on the wall based on a height comfortable to you. Space-Saving Savior: Let's face it, traditional ironing boards are space hogs. Not this beauty! When you're done ironing, simply fold the board flat against the wall. It practically disappears, freeing up precious floor space in your laundry room or bedroom. Minor Musings: My only suggestion for improvement? A slightly longer ironing surface would be ideal for those shirt sleeves and pants. But that's a minor quibble in the grand scheme of things. Disclaimer: I don't stack books on my ironing board, nor do I use great force to try and flatten stubborn wrinkles, so this is plenty sturdy and strong for me. For what I do (and my wife sometimes does) this was just what I needed. Our house is two story, and the master bedroom and closets are downstairs. Setting up an ironing board and iron in a room upstairs just takes more time and effort than I'm willing to spend again and again. I have a lot of shirts. My wife and daughter each bought them for me for every birthday, father's day, and Christmas, until I announced I have sufficient shirts! Bottom line for me, though, was I only wore the shirts that come out of the dryer really wrinkle-free. If money were no object, we could get a fancy built in cabinet ironing board or send everything to the cleaners--but money IS an object. Enter this amazing product. Easy to install. Instructions warn against using hollow wall anchors, but if one side or the other can be screwed into a wall stud, it's plenty sturdy. I used self-drilling, self-tapping wall anchors on the other side. We had electric outlets installed in our two master closets a short while back, and that made putting this wall mounted ironing board in a closet feasible. The other slightly tricky thing for closet installation is that you can't really install it under a high closet rod and shelf, due to the length of the board when it's stowed. I found that for good ironing height, the top of the frame needed to be about 50" from the floor, and that put the end of the ironing board at 70 inches when stowed. That's higher than the high closet rods and shelves in our closets. Only my closet had one wall space with nothing on it for mounting the board, and so I got the ironing board in my closet. That's it. The iron is stored on a shelf in my closet along with a jug of distilled water. Very handy, and now I can wear any shirt I have, so long as I can spare five minutes to touch it up with the iron. Same with washable semi-dress pants. Like I said in the headline, it changed my life!

My husband put this up in my sewing room in about 15 minutes. He had to use special screws for the drywall, but the product itself is sturdy. It is just big enough for my needs. It's not a large ironing board, so if you iron all of your sheets, I wouldn't suggest it. But for smaller jobs, it's perfect. It unfolds and folds up quite simply - no tricky parts. And, it does not need a "leg" underneath to stabilize it when it's down as the ironing board is sturdy enough to suspend by itself. I went back and forth on whether I wanted an ironing board in a cabinet so that the board is hidden, and I am glad I decided not to. My mother has the cabinet kind, and it is bulky, and if you don't put your ironing board away all the time, you also have an open cabinet too. This lies flat against the wall, it is small, and it is not obtrusive. I pretty much use it everyday, and I love how easy it is to use. Update: My ironing board is still up and in perfect condition. I have since bought two more as gifts. This is an inexpensive way to make life easier!

The product seems of good quality, but whoever designed the hardware was an amateur. Don’t use the included hardware because it will just tear a large hole in the drywall. Use a plastic anchor that expands with screw for mounting. Also make sure that you hit at least one stud and mount one side with screws to secure the product. Don’t expect this product to stay on the wall using four anchors.

The product itself is fine. Don’t buy the one with the iron holder if you have a modern iron. The paper instructions provided are poor but use videos from other buyers if you select it. Had to use our own different screws and mollies bc it’s not wide enough to hit two wall studs.

Works great! Still kept my large standing iron for big iron days. This one is definitely good for days I need to quickly iron. Sturdy and durable.
