Frame Company Drayton Range 10 x 8 inch Grey Picture Photo Frame with White Mount For Image Size 7 x 5 inch

The frame arrived from Amazon with a sticker on the packaging stating it had failed the quality control because it wasn't the required weight. And yes. The insert was missing. So that was a bit naff of Amazon to send it out. However, I contacted the help number direct to the company who were super helpful and sent out a border/insert immediately which arrived the next day. The frame was lovely and just right for what I wanted it for. Very impressed with item and the company... not so with Amazon's quality control this time.

It’s a picture frame - so not a lot to say about it! Well made, the only small criticism is that the inner border frame only just allows an A4 picture to be displayed - it could do with being just a little deeper. I managed to tape the image I had to stop it from fall through the border.

I am very satisfied with this item. Some of the reviews I read seemed to say the quality was not very good and there was damage when it arrived. I strongly disagree. It was well packaged and exactly as described. Good value for money and looks great.

I bought this to reframe a professional photograph which had been supplied framed, but with no hanging hook. The frame has now made the photograph ready to hang on the wall. It initially arrived with the glass cracked, despite being well wrapped and boldly marked 'Fragile'. After contacting the seller, they replied promptly and with the choice of replacement glass or perspex, as the frame itself was in good condition. I chose a perspex pane which has now arrived and is in the frame. it looks good. I can't fault the frame or the service I received in replacing the glass.

Basically a very nice frame, but a couple of problems prevent a 5 star review. Firstly the supplied A4 matt has an aperture only a millimetre or so smaller than an A4 page, making it very hard to position the page correctly behind the matt. This is made worse by the fact that a backing board is not included. I do a lot of picture framing, cutting my own mounts, and you really do need a backing board to fix the A4 artwork to, so that it lines up correctly with the mount aperture. Secondly, there were a couple of small blemishes in the grey paint near the corners of the frame, where the white base shows through. A shame because it's a nicely made frame, but too much bother to send it back and get a replacement that will probably be the same.

It's a frame that holds photos ( yes, that's a wedding photo in the frame. Mine and my wife's to be accurate. But don't be jealous. You too can aspire to photos like this)
