A very useful and decent-looking piece of plastic
I looked a quite a few options for a shower barrier, and this one had both the best ratings on Amazon and also looked the best. I have a shower that is pitched just slightly down in one corner, and the water runs out onto the bathroom and bedroom floor.Happy to say, followed the directions and the comments here, for a great outcome. I used one of the Gorilla Sealant 80ml tubes (also from Amazon).I used masking tape to mask off each side of the strip. This took the longest as I quite precise about it. I laid one piece of tape down straight. Then put the plastic strip butting up against it. I used two heavy books to weight the strip down while putting down the second piece of tape. The product comes wrapped up in a coil, which made installation a bit more challenging than if it was flat, but not appreciably so. The instructions are very clear. There's a channel in the bottom of the strip for silicon sealant. I used about half the 80ml tube, or about 40ml. I applied the sealant in two passes, because the first time, I filled the channel but that wasn't quite enough. I went back over it and used what seemed like a huge amount of sealant, and that stuck well.I used about half the strip, and cut it with a very sharp knife. I initially used scissors but that left the cut a bit ragged and at a slight angle. Once the sealant was applied, I laid it down and pressed down hard. I then used a rag to remove any excess sealant from the top of the plastic.Once it was flat and had started adhering (about three minutes) I put three heavy books on it and left it overnight. In the morning, a perfect seal. It looks great and is definitely waterproof. It's also unobtrusive thanks to the moulding of the piece. I had looked at some other, more vertical solutions and I am very pleased I did not go with them.Overall, I am super-pleased with this product. It's expensive for what it is, but not at all expensive for what it does. Take care and patience in installing it. Measure twice, cut once. Overall, I think installing took about 40 minutes and I used half the strip.

Excellent item once you roll it out and leave it in a warm room for a few days.
I’ve read some reviews saying this item does not adhere to surfaces well. This may be due to the fact that it arrives round up for transporting. My top tip is to unroll in a warm room and put weights in it to take out the curls. This way, it will adhere correctly. Delighted with this products. Keeps the water in my shower and not on my bedroom floors.

Works well
Comes rolled up in packaging and can be tricky to lay straight (kinks etc). I found that hanging it up with a weight on the bottom for 24 hours before using helped straighten it out. Also have some Duct tape handy to help stick it down while it cures. I ordered the sealent recommended on Amazon and found it great to use.I followed the instructions and now have a water tight seal. Great stuff.

Great product with colour choice
I have purchased this bathroom strip many times for various projects I have been working on. It offers a comfortable soft step over for any area that required to prevent water flowing. Cutting to size and fixing is simple and easy, would be nice if the company joined forces with a silicone brand and recommend the most suitable silicone to use with their product. As a property developer I always go to this brand.

Saved my new shower room!
Installed a flat low profile shower tray in our new shower room only to be surprised when the water from the shower was about to flood the whole room! This strip has worked perfectly and now our walk in shower is useable. We stuck it down with silicone as recommended but also sealed around the edges with silicone too as it was necessary for the layout of the shower. Easy to cut and install.

Works well and easy to cut and glue into place
Colour was a perfect match and it stops water flooding my entire bathroom floor. Very happy indeed. Hubby managed to cut the piece to make a 90 degree angle.

Use the right silicone
It's bloody expensive for what it is, but i couldn't find an alternative. This definitely works but it's entirely dependent on the sealant/silicone you use. Our first attempt (with some seriously cheap silicone) peeled off after a month, leaving behind a strip of silicone on the floor that took ages to scrape off. The 2nd attempt is much better, after we used a silicone sealant that also functions as an adhesive (at least, so the bottle states: everbuild stixclear). Recommend you use a lot, so that the silicone seeps out of the strip when you press it down. You can then clean the excess away for a nice finish (or use masking tape, which i would next time since the everbuild is tough to wipe away). Seems far better and held up well to date.
