Great shampoo
I buy this for my dog with sensitive skin and it leaves her nice and soft. I also see significantly less scratching after she has a bath. It works super well and you can see the practically black bath water rinsing off her after we lather her up. She also smells great for a few weeks after her bath.

PEOPLE, IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO LATHER!
I love this shampoo. My Malshi's hair comes out so nice and soft and super clean. I see so many negative reviews about it being watered down and not lathering, but it's not supposed to because sensitive skin should not use the surfactants that allow other shampoos to lather. Same with the scent. It's a mild scent because sensitive skin gets irritated by the chemicals that give off strong scents. Don't buy a product for sensitive skin if you want the chemicals that irritates sensitive skin!! To create something like the 'lathering' effect, just shake the bottle as it says in the instructions before you squeeze it out so it's foamier. So in short, it works great to clean my dog, she still smells fresh afterwards and it doesn't irritate her skin because it doesn't have the irritating lathering and strong scent chemicals! A+

canine spa experience in a bottle!
Burt's Bees for Pets Oatmeal Dog Shampoo is nothing short of a canine spa experience in a bottle! As a devoted dog parent, I'm always on the lookout for products that prioritize my furry friend's health and well-being, and this shampoo exceeds all expectations.First and foremost, let's talk about the ingredients. With colloidal oat flour and honey, this shampoo is packed with natural moisturizing and nourishing properties that leave my dog's coat feeling soft, shiny, and irresistibly smooth. The oatmeal soothes dry, itchy skin, while the honey adds a boost of hydration, making bath time a luxurious treat for my pup.But what truly sets Burt's Bees for Pets apart is its commitment to quality and safety. Cruelty-free, sulfate-free, and paraben-free, it's a gentle and responsible choice for pet parents who prioritize natural and sustainable ingredients. Plus, the pH-balanced formula ensures that it's gentle on my dog's sensitive skin, providing a thorough yet gentle cleanse without any harsh chemicals or irritants.Another thing I appreciate is the thoughtfulness that went into the design of the bottle. The 16 oz size is generous enough to last through multiple baths, even for larger breeds, while the easy-to-use pump dispenser makes bath time a breeze. Plus, the fact that it's made in the USA gives me peace of mind knowing that it meets the highest standards of quality and safety. And let's not forget about the delightful scent. The natural fragrance of oatmeal and honey leaves my dog smelling fresh and clean for days, without any overpowering artificial perfumes that can cause irritation.Overall, I can't recommend Burt's Bees for Pets Oatmeal Dog Shampoo highly enough. It's a pampering experience for pooches that delivers on both quality and efficacy. If you're searching for a shampoo that will leave your furry friend's coat looking and feeling its best, look no further – this shampoo is pure bliss in a bottle!

pros: scent free, gentle on sensitive skin, lifts dirt extremely well, no residue, soft fur (doesn’t strip oils)cons: thin liquid (thick water consistency, hard to get the soap on your dog if dispensed in your hand), no foam (hard to see where soap has missed), need to use a lot on thick fur (doesn’t spread easily)other things to note: have two australian shepherds and a papillon chihuahua. this soap is much easier to use on a little dog since you can keep track of where you’ve gotten the soap and where you haven’t. my aussies have very dense coats with medium length fur and i had to use 1/4 of the bottle to wash all three dogs with the primary reason of this soap not spreading. thicker foaming soap would be better for my aussies but this soap is perfect for my papillon.

Great for fur babies with sensitive skin!
I have two pit bulls — both with super, super sensitive skin — and finding products that don’t leave them miserable was proving to be near impossible! But this stuff? This stuff is AMAZING. It’s the only dog shampoo I could find (after numerous attempts) that would get my babies clean and smelling good without being to drying or abrasive. Plus, it smells great!

No lather at all, little suds, very watery
This might be okay for a very short haired dog, a tiny dog or a larger breed with just skin and small hairs like a Doberman or something. But if you have a long haired dog, forget it. This does NOT lather. As in, not lather at all, none. It is this as water and has no consistency like a normal shampoo which you expect to be thicker than water. There is almost no soapiness seen rinsing off your long haired dog, just the water with a little bit of soap.....it is just not a lathery soapy bath. I hate to leave this somewhat negative review because I LOVE all Burt's Bees products and use their lip balm daily and swear by it. But this dog shampoo just doesn't cut it, at least for a long haired dog, and you end up using half the bottle for one bath and there is so little soap bubbles going down the drain. It is completely unscented which may be something you like, but I cannot see much actual "soapy cleaning" happening with this watery, non-lathering product. So.....have very short or no hair? Small tiny dog? Maybe it's okay if your dog isn't really dirty. Bigger dog, long haired dog, really dirty dog? No way.
