It's small, and really stylish. It matches the décor in my room. I had a blast putting it together, only because I like putting stuff together and seeing a finished product. That fact that I could do it on my own with no help was even more of a bonus. The instructions were a bit weird, as several people have commented on before. Some of the drawings were wrong, which led me to put it together wrong the first time, but I quickly caught on and fixed the issue with little damage to the table. Was able to fit everything I needed to in it's drawers. The only issue I have with this table is not really an issue, but a critique: the little peg stoppers that are meant to prevent the drawer from coming all the way out are a horrible idea. The drawer comes out way more than it should and stuff gets stuck on the peg, preventing the drawer from opening up all they way. I just took them out and have no issue, just because the of the weight of what I have in the drawer gives me enough control. I know not to push them out all the way. Other than that, it's a great accent table. It's not high quality, but you should expect that for the price. It's made out of compacted wood, so don't put too much force in when putting it together.

I will first say that it is smaller than I imaged it would be from the picture (but that isn't a complaint as I like the size and after all the dimensions are given in the description). I was able to assemble it in 30-40 minutes, and once complete I was surprised by it's stability. The top drawer doesn't remain straight when pulled out and drops a bit as described in other reviews but I anticipated that before purchasing. But what I LOVE about this item is that there is practically no "unfinished" surface. Even with both drawers removed, it looks like a completed project because the interior is still lined by the black finishing. What that allows is some flexibility if you want the both drawers, only one drawer, or no drawers. I for instance only have use of one drawer at the moment and I removed the top drawer and use this extra shelf as a place to lay book or two that I am current reading. For the relatively cheap price, I don't think other pieces can compare to this one. I'm extremely pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a inexpensive night stand.

I find it funny that people are buying a 35 dollar nightstand and complaining about the quality. Honestly, this nightstand seems very sturdy. Assembly isn't too bad as long as you have a drill. If you are doing it with a screwdriver it'll probably take you double the time. I really like the look of these, and for $35-ish they are a pretty good bargain in my opinion. Higher quality than anything you'll find at a Walmart store. My only major con with these, like others have said, are the drawers. The drawers simply seat in the cubby hole. They don't sit on rails or anything like that, so don't expect to use them for holding much. Also the top drawer, when pulled out a little more than half way, tips forward, the only thing that holds both drawers in is a wooden dowel. I put the 4 stars since the price was so good and the overall structure seems pretty sturdy, I feel like it can hold a decent amount of weight despite being so small. Like i said though, you're spending around 35 bucks a piece for these, don't expect this to be like your great Grandmother's Oak dresser that weighs 500lbs and can be dropped off a two-story balcony and survive. If you need a cheap nightstand that looks good and will last a long time as long as you take care of it, this will do the trick.

I had one really old, really large nightstand and I wanted to get rid of it and get two smaller nightstands- one for each side of the bed. So I looked at these, read the reviews, look at literally DOZENS and DOZENS of other nightstands over the course of several weeks, read those reviews, etc, etc, etc and ultimately decided to give these ones a try. What helped me make the decision: a) the rating for this nightstand was 3.5 stars, the average rating for most of the other nightstands I looked at was also 3.5 stars so I figured they were about average in terms of customer satisfaction, b) PRICE- I can think of better ways to spend $400 than on a pair of stupid nightstands! These cost me $72 and shipped FREE and c) I was soo sick and tired of shopping for nightstands I thought what the heck- good or bad at least I won't have to waste any more time SHOPPING FOR NIGHTSTANDS! Let me say I'm glad I took a chance on these! They look really nice- they came well packaged and free of damage except for the one which has a few tiny marks along one edge but you have to get down on your hands and knees and crawl halfway into it to see them! (they make markers to hide scratches in furniture) I do wish they were a tiny bit bigger or taller- I feel like these would look great next to a twin or full bed but they look a little too small next to my queen sized bed BUT they are so much nicer than what I had before. Now in regards to the other bad reviews: YES these are made out of particle board, YES they are heavy because particle board IS heavy, YES they are prone to damage- do not leave your cup of water on the top or you will get rings/water damage (use a coaster!) and over time the edges may get a little dinged up. You could, in theory, take this apart and put it back together but doing so will likely cause damage. No there is no gliding mechanism for the drawers- they just kinda sit in there and there's a little wooden peg that keeps you from pulling them the whole way out. Seriously WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FOR $36?? Were these hard to put together? I didn't think so. The instructions are just a bunch of pictures- you have to figure out which piece is which but that's not uncommon for this type of furniture. The first one took me 40 minutes (and I was eating dinner at the time!) and the second one took me just under 30 minutes working from memory. For those of you who said the holes are the wrong size those are PILOT holes- they are not supposed to be the 'right' size they are supposed to be smaller! That way when you apply the pin/screw/peg it has something to 'bite' into! (If the holes were the exact perfect size the pin/screw/peg could potentially fall back out. It has to be a tight fit!) Now I will say its VERY important that when you put the pin/screw/peg into the pilot hole you have to get it perfectly straight (90 degree angle) if its a little bit crooked you could very well drive it out through the side which would cause major damage to the unit! I made sure all of my pins were perfectly straight, lined up the next piece, a few taps with a rubber mallet and voila! What really sold me on this unit is that it uses a combination of locking pins AND wooden pegs for the main structure which is a rare thing to see on such an inexpensive piece of furniture- it makes this thing SOLID. Another really nice thing is that all the edges are "finished" so there's no ugly side- it looks just as good all the way around. Is this a piece of high end furniture that's going to last me the next 20 years? No! But they serve their purpose, look great and they saved me a lot of money!

Ok... so I just moved and realized I am in need of a nightstand fast so I browsed through so many. I saw this one and kept second guessing myself I left and came back to it at least 4 times. So finally said ugh I’ll order it!! It came quicker than expected perfect! Thennnn I opened the box! I had all these pieces a screws laid out in front of me so the put together was annoying! On top of that The drawers are irritating it doesn’t even have wheels to push in and out! To make matters worse the top drawer always tips down and out when I open it 😡! I just wanna say if u have enough patience to put this together and like drawers without the wheels then this night stand is for you! I will say When u finally get it together it’s really cute, Nice and tall so it’ll have to do for now..because I’m not sending it back🤷🏾‍♀️

When I ordered this, I knew I was getting a good for value nightstand but based on other reviews was fully expecting assembly to be a nightmare. I was so wrong!! The sellers must’ve taken feedback seriously because this nightstand comes with very detailed clear instructions. The parts were easy to identify and it was very easy to assemble. Also, the nightstand looks great, blends in well with the rest of my “black-brown” IKEA furniture. One thing to note, the drawers don’t have “slide” out I.e. it was no wheels. The only thing keeping them from falling out are wooden dowels so I probably wouldn’t use it for heavy items.

I needed a somewhat smaller night stand for my room. At just under 16" in width, it was the same as the Ikea stand I had, but this one isn't quite as deep (12"), but was slightly taller at a little under 24". It has storage space at the bottom, but 2 drawers instead of just one. The drawers sit on shelves, instead of the flimsy plastic tracks that Ikea drawers slide in. It feels heavy and solid. Assembly is easy, with easy to read instructions. If you're looking for something simple in style and affordable, you'll be happy with this.

I was looking for some nightstands for my wife and I and came across these. I do what I normally do and read through reviews. Initially I was very discouraged when reading them. Many that I read were not good, especially when talking about the quality and putting them together. I looked around and could not find anything inexpensive, so I came back and decided to give these a try. I am glad I did. These nightstands are pretty good and if you are looking for something inexpensive then these are definitely the ones are you looking for. This nightstand was not a hassle at all to put together. I my opinion it was straight forward. After putting it together I found it was sturdy and they really do look good. One of the complaints that almost was my deciding factor in not getting it was how the top drawer slides out. I can say for me it is not a big issue. This is a good product for a good price.
