Just buy it
Probably the best cooking item I've ever owned. Food tastes so much better cooked on a griddle, especially a well seasoned one. Do not make the mistake some of the low scoring reviewers did by not properly seasoning it. It's really easy, and you can find plenty of tutorials online for doing it. after even using it one time and seasoning it like you're supposed to, it will pretty much lock in the non stick and rust protection. Just make sure you do it it every time. The pictures I'm posting are of the grill (with other accessories) when I first set it up, and then making breakfast a few days later. Yes, I've only had this thing for three days now and you can see the difference in what the surface looks like when you season it and care for it like you're supposed to. I've only cooked four meals on it so far and you can see the surface getting that nice dark, black coating that you want it ti get. Out of the box, it took maybe a maximum of ten minutes to set it up, it comes mostly assembled right out of the box. Legs fold in for easy transport, top grill surface is really heavy. Only issue I ran into was the two outside burners (it has 4 total, 2 for each knob) do not ignite every time with the ignition and I have to use either a long lighter or a stick to transfer the flame over. Not a big deal for me at all. My food has come out a thousand times better than stove top cooking and despite the amount of oil you're using to season and cook with, food comes out almost grease free. It's like magic. I use it on my porch as my now daily cooking station, but I can't wait to take this thing camping.

Highly recommend the Blackstone 28" griddle/grill
I have owned grills for 50+ years. all makes, all models, cheap grills, super expensive grills and have gone so far as to make my own, always looking for the "perfect" grill. With the Blackstone 28" griddle/grill I feel my search is over. I thought the 28" model might be a bit small but it's easily big enough for a family of 4 with room to spare.Having seasoned the griddle/grill I've only had time to use it a few times but have to admit I am more than impressed with it. The cook is even with great temp control One a very windy day (gust to 25mph) with it set on medium-high the surface temp was within 35 degrees edge to edge. I was a little concerned when I ordered it as I was going for the 36" three burner model thinking the temp would be more even temp but my fears were laid to rest as soon as it heated up. The only other concern I had was the steel warping but Blackstone is using a high-grade well-tempered steel as there were no signs of warping at any temp. I had read in many reviews that oil ran down the leg from the drip rail but Blackstone has fixed that as even though my patio floor tilts slightly left the oil still drips into the oil cup.I ordered the Blackstone "package" when ordering my griddle/grill and had mixed results there. Frist the good, the oil bottles are great, quality material, easy to control oil flow when pouring and tight no leak caps. Having a chef for a father I know good tools and the spatulas that come with it are top notch. Quality no-heat break resistant handles with high-grade steel with just the right "flex" blades. And the bad was for some reason with the 28" model they sent the 36" cover and when I returned it they sent ANOTHER 36" cover. Go figure. I was refunded the price of the cover and after checking reviews ordered the iCOVER 28 in Griddle Cover which I happen to think is a better deal after reading reviews on the Blackstone cover and having the iCOVER, it's heavy duty, fits perfect and comes with a "tentpole" to keep water from pooling on top.All-in-all I give the Blackstone 28" griddle/grill and toolset a well deserved five stars and recommend the 28" ICOVER.

I wish I could buy it at the regular price in Japan
The media could not be loaded. I bought it from Japan. It's an expensive griddle considering the shipping costs, but I'm very satisfied with it.The rivet on the heat shield was broken, but that's a small problem that can be fixed quickly. The griddle wasn't perfectly flat from the beginning, but putting a few washers on the legs of the griddle solves the problem. When I cleaned the dirt with a scraper, I could see the metal only at the welded parts, which were scraped off in spots. It seems to be a little bulging there.I was impressed with the performance of the Omnivore griddle. It's 4mm thick and lighter than expected (13.5kg = 30lb) because it heats up quickly. It doesn't warp much despite being thin. It's also resistant to crosswinds.I think it will be liked and accepted by Japanese people who are concerned about cooking time and fuel consumption. However, the sound when using a metal spatula is surprisingly loud. This is a problem in Japan, where neighboring houses are close to each other. Also, I use propane gas at home, but it's difficult to use it when camping in Japan, where there are restrictions on moving gas cylinders. So I tried connecting four butane gas cylinders sold at convenience stores. 250g x 4 bottles = about 1kg, but I was able to use it for about 2 hours. I think this is thanks to the heat retention performance of Omnivore.I envy Americans who can buy good products at low prices. I've become a big fan of Blackstone.I wish I could buy it at the regular price in Japan. That's why I gave it a -☆.
