How bright our these at night time under a gazebo will i be able to see what im eating ? ?

I bought these but had to send them back as some were faulty. They are not a good quality product, in my experience. I would recommend the Letour camping lantern instead. More expensive (from memory) but they work a treat in our gazebo. Very reliable and give out a good amount of light.

Can you use rechargeable batteries?

Simple answer is yes, I have had no issues with them at all.
