Great for the price

Plug and play easy to install and sound great

You name the 5.25" coaxial speaker in the sub-$100 range and I tried it. To my ear none sounded better than these. Whether it was Kicker, Pioneer, Boss, etc. all seemed to have issues with having a warm and balanced sound stage. These speakers just seemed to my untrained ears to be the most full and pleasing.

Great sound for the price. They matched up well with my Kenwood head unit. The only detractor is I needed to add a subwoofer to my system. It needed some help on the bottom end. Now in all fairness it’s a Fox body Mustang convertible with an aftermarket exhaust.

Operability

Fit my truck finally. Nissan 1996 pickup king cab. Had to drill new holes and make the connector heads

Will fit I the soundbar of a TJ but you must use the stock speaker grills. The Kenwood ones will not fit.

I bought two sets of these speakers to replace the old stock ones in my 04 Jeep wrangler. I installed and excelon head unit along with these and run them off of the head unit. They sound excellent! These are such a good value too. I installed two kappa 10'' subwoofers in the back of the Jeep as well run off a deaf bonce 1500.1 amp. The stereo in the Jeep is fantastic now. It is a night and day difference from stock. Now, If I wouldn't have added the subwoofers it is still a big difference from the stock speakers but they do lack bass which pretty much all 5 1/4's do. If you are looking to put a great sounding system in a wrangler I highly recommend these as well as the kappa 10's.
