This isn’t a Bic plastic mechanical pencil
This is an excellent mechanical pencil. It writes really smooth, feels comfortable and the price is what I would pay for a non plastic pencil. I like grip feel on it. My only complaint would be I ordered the silver color but got dark blue instead. I recommend the Staedtler Hexagonal mechanical pencil if you’re looking for a even more high quality mechanical pencil. Overall I am pleased.

Feels Great
Love this pencil. Heavy, sturdy, tactile, glides across the paper. Used it briefly for drafting, but enjoy using it for illustration. Staedtler is known for quality products. Wish this pencil came with an eraser on the back, helps when you're on the move. Love the label feature for the lead type. Looking forward to using this pencil for the coming years.

Tuff ahh pencil
Best mechanical pencil I've ever used, way better than the cheap ahh plastic ones. Feels very sturdy and solid and will for sure last me for as long as I need to write everyday. My only complant would be the tiny eraser but as far as I know thats normal for nice mechanical pencils. I like the color and it contrasts well with the other metallic parts of the pencil. Overall I would recommend this if you are in school or accounting or something.

Smooth writing

I love it. Feels great in the hand, holds up well. I like that the eraser is covered when not in use.

First impression: great
1. It is made in metal and not plastic. That is a huge plus.2. I have used it for only 1 day, but it is balanced, not too light not too heavy, and feels great3. I also like the color.4. I am just not sure about the non-smooth section where it leans on my fingers. I hope I will feel comfortable after long writing sessions.
