MusicNomad Acousti-Lok Strap Lock Adapter for Standard Output Jacks for Acoustic Guitars (MN270)

Someday I’ll find the one of these that I bought a year ago and I’ll have a strap lock on another guitar, but in the meantime, I finally have a strap lock on my Martin and this adapter works perfectly. I’m very happy with it, it screwed on easily, and there is room for the guitar cable and RokLok on the end of my guitar. Best, my strap doesn’t randomly pop off.

I used it with D'Addario elliptical strap pins and a Taylor strap and it looks beautiful

This product does exactly what you need it to do. It installed effortlessly over the jack of my K&K pure mini, allowing me to relocate the strap pin, (which is perfect to receive a Schaller strap lock) and letting the strap actually fit easily on the pin. 100% recommend.

Straps would not fit my guitars with LR Baggs pickup systems. This device solved that once and for all.

Installation was easy on my Taylor 412CE, taking only a minute or two, and works well with guitar strap locks. However, the Taylor guitar case that comes with the guitar is form-fitted, and the strap-lock adapter sticks out a little so you have to be careful putting the guitar in its case. I enure the adapter is rotated so that it completely covers the plastic battery cover to ensure the adapter doesn't rub anywhere against the guitar's finish when it's in the case.There is concern from some folks that the strap locks that are recommended in the adapter video have screws that are integral to the strap lock, and the screw is quite a bit larger than the original strap button screw. I ordered Eison strap locks and the screws on those can be replaced with the original strap button screw, and the lock works great with the strap lock adapter.

This is the perfect solution for attaching a non-locking guitar strap to an acoustic/electric guitar that has the end button also serving as the output jack plug-in (a ridiculous design that is only good for playing while sitting). That end button is way too wide for the standard guitar strap hole and is about impossible to use without opening the hole on the strap, which could ruin the stitching on a nice leather strap. This has two options, one for Martin and one for pretty much all the others. Nice sturdy black plated steel construction. Also has an optional button attachment for those who prefer not to use a strap lock. the only drawback is it is only available in black plated. My Hummingbird has all gold trim, so I bought a set of gold Dunlop endpins and used one in place of the optional button attachment and it worked perfectly!

Great addition for two of my acoustic guitars

I purchased this for a Taylor 914ce. It worked well. Unfortunately the guitar did not . Anyone need a strap adapter?
