Mentally, for me, carabiners relate to mountain climbing safety equipment. No, I'm not a mountain climber. However, they've fascinated me forever and I've purchased these in two sizes. Small is useful on a key ring. The large one I put on a backpack which is my pocketbook/purse. {Can't believe I didn't discover backpacks and all those pockets before.}I became aware, Internet probably, it's wise when using a shopping cart that your bag be ATTACHED to the cart and a carabiner was recommended. I really like having them, these colors are beautiful, they're well made, and perfect for securing one thing to another if such a connection is needed.

They're great for the price, but one of the latches was a bit misaligned. This is unfortunate cuz it was the lavender color that I wanted the most from the group. They're all still usable though, and I am happy with my purchase.

Great quality, and very sturdy

I needed some carabiners so i can attach the dog’s leash to my belt while we train him. This worked perfectly.

These are good basic carabiners for various uses. With kids not using lockers anymore, my son has been putting his lunch outside his backpack in a sort of webbing but using a carabiner to secure it, and these are helpful. This type of carabiner is less expensive (NOT to be used for climbing!!), so sometimes they will wear out so it's nice to have a few to spare. I could spend more for something heavier duty but for this use just didn't want to spend that.

I love these as the covers are colorful and easy to see. Why get plain silver when you can get these decorated versions?
