I hate the head crush of conventional headset and this headset solves that problem, the mic was a little loose but nothing a little friction tape couldn't fix.

Great lightweight headset, ear buds meh
Decided to spend some overtime money and treat myself to a nice headset — if I’m gonna be wearing one 30+ hours a week, I want it to be comfortable! TL;DR: this was a good investment.Good things first! It’s light and comfy. It sits where I expect it to without digging into my head, irritating my beard, or drooping down and needing constant adjustment. If your work requires you to wear a mask, I wear this over a KN-95 with no problem — I usually hang the mask loops on the headset to save my ears!Mic quality is decent, or at least no one has complained about my calls being distorted or too loud/quiet.The cord is flexible and the perfect length for me (I’m 6’1, average frame, connecting to a wireless belt pack). I appreciate that the 4 pin connector has a clip on it, as well as an optional stain relief clip. Where the cord connects to the headset (dead center bottom of the back) is perfect and allows for unrestricted movement. They come with a protective case, which is great if you change venues often!Being able to easily and quickly switch front both ears, to one ear, to the other ear, to no ears at all is quite handy, and a feature I didn’t realize I needed but now will be sad if I don’t have.Their customer service is great! I had an issue with an ear bud (more on that later) and they quickly shipped me spares with no fuss. The not so good… the ear buds aren’t great. As other reviewers have stated, the plastic shell has a tendency to split during routine use. Even if it doesn’t, the sound isolation on them is almost nonexistent. If you’re in a loud venue, you’ll want to take advantage of the MMCX connector and swap in third party in-ears (which is easy). I used a pair from DCMEKA and they worked much better. The mic windscreen isn’t really attached in any way. Do yourself a favor and put a skinny zip tie on there unless you want to lose the windscreen.Overall, not quite perfect, but worth the investment if wearing a headset is a big part of your day. Just do yourself a favor and also order a better pair of buds at the same time!

Didn't work upon receiving
This was a very expensive purchase. when I received the headset the mic did not work. This was not the manufacturer fault it was the company that sold it to me fault. Will never by from this company again.

Uncomfortable and impractical
I wanted these to work for me badly. Very badly.Unfortunately the earpieces are terrible and the sharp edges will leave marks in your ears. The fit very similar to the cheap earphones Arlines give out for free to economy-class passengers on long haul flights. The ear mount Is heavy and way too rigid and not adjustable to your ear shape. The wiring is a hodgepodge of cables running through a flimsy cord organizer thingy. No quick disconnect so unless you're on a wireless comm, each time you step away from your station it is a process to remove and then put it back on when the director yells at you to get back on comm faster after your bio break.Very nice carrying case, but bulky. Knowing that a majority of people who'd buy this travel to show sites for a living, the case should be much more compact and not take up half the space in your carry on.For this price I expected a lot more than a fancy carrying case with a crappy headset.

Good headset and microphone.
I have been working as a music and production A2 for 20 years and really like this unit for intercom. In the field with a band blasting behind u its great. Also great to avoid swamp ear in overly hot outside gigs!Point Source also replaced my earbuds for free when they broke. In terms of comfort I would take these any day over any Telex type muff. They take a little getting used to but I would recommend them to any professional that has to wear a headset for a long time.

One Giant Leap Forward, Some Small Steps Needed
First off, I give this product 5 stars on the idea! I got this for use with a ENG/EFP camera that I'm trying to get into all sorts of nooks and crannies, and even carrying it on my shoulder with the bulk of the kind of regular ClearCom headsets that you wear on a live music stage moves the 20# camera 2-3" outboard and that hurts! Wearing these lets me forget about the bulk about my head and concentrate on the things that matter. I get better shots. I tire slower. I struggle less and communicate with the director more. The ear buds offer better sound isolation than circumaural headsets; the first time I used these, the physical trauma from the high SPL on-stage was markedly less, and less distracting. I wasn't expecting that, but should have known. I have been using in-ear hearing protection for over 40 years at concerts. I just didn't realize how bad the (not ClearCom brand) headsets were at sound isolation! The dynamic mic worked fine for my needs. My main gripe is that construction is on the lightweight side. My first set had an earphone split apart on the first day of use, and the cables that were run inside the frame worked their way out of the frame and defied my attempts to get them back. That unit was refunded and the replacement arrived promptly. The bundle of cables running from the frame to the connector started coming out of the sheath right before air time the other day, leading me to make a rushed repair when I should have been concentrating on my work. This is stuff that I expect to be completely and totally not a problem in Version 2. By all means put me on the list to get test versions...hint hint. The earphones...work. With all the commercially available earbuds and IEMs out there, I wonder why there isn't a better (ie. doesn't split apart) ear bud, or an option for a mmcx connector. Another thing to consider for v.2.
