Such great markers!!!
Just WOW. They help improved my sketchings and watercolor paintings so much, I love the different sizes of markers in one box. I saw this recommended by a huge watercolor artist on YouTube and she said it was her favorite fine line markers. I can see why.

Excellent Purchase
We purchased these for our daughter along with one of the Manga drawing books. It was an excellent gift, and the pens have been put to good use. There were several other options that were far pricier, but we decided to go with the Prismacolor because it is a well known brand and because we wanted something for a beginner artist. These pens were a great starter set for our 11 year old. They were not too pricey, but were good quality and have lasted through lots of use. The set comes with different size tips and shades of black and gray. My daughter has been using them to practice shading and different techniques with her drawings. I highly recommend these for anyone getting started with drawing Manga who doesn't want to spend a fortune on some of the higher end, professional art materials.

Amazing Markers
As I've started drawing more often I've been looking all over the place for any inking pens that are cheap but that will not bleed through the paper or smear. These pens are AWESOME. They don't cost very much and the black pens are a very solid black that leave a very clean effect. If you run your finger over the line directly after making it, there is zero evidence of smearing and I was surprised to note that the pens do not show through to the other side of the paper, even while using regular printer paper, which is known to be thin. I am so glad I bought these. They're varied enough that I can always find exactly the right line to make my art look as good as possible, and I highly recommend these markers. I will say that the "Sepia" markers are not really sepia at all. They come out looking like a dark brown color, which I would have assumed was black unless comparing the two side by side. The tiny sepia marker is a little lighter than the brush tip sepia marker, but they're still quite dark.

Great pen, lack of single size bundle options.
My go to sketching pens, better than microns. The only downside if that there are no options to buy a specific size and I always have to buy the full set knowing I wont be using some of the sizes.

Not Bad... Not Bad at All...
When I first ordered these markers, I was expecting average quality, but these are better than that. As a beginning anime artist, I was in search of a way to darken the lines in my drawings and lessen the amount of pencil smudges in them. And after countless searches on both Google and Amazon, I've been constantly rerouted to this same set of markers. It took a while for them to get here (possibly due to the fact that there was a problem with my credit card and the time of shipping), but that's besides the point. Every marker within the packet was well worth the money. All the caps, as well as the sides of the pens, are numbered accordingly to their size. There are 5 fine line markers,1 chisel marker, and two brush markers. Six out of the eight markers are black, while the other two are brown. I feel as though the brown markers are unnecessary, since they're sort of a light brown color, and I feel like they should have put them in a seperate case with other color markers (they must have snuck'em in there for an extra few bucks lol). The bigger the number is, the thicker the marker (however, the chisel and brush markers are marked with a "C" or "B."). Each one has been very helpful to me, depending on how large and detailed my pictures were, like when I have to draw an eye up close, I would need thicker markers on certain parts of the eye, like the outlines (i.e. the picture of the anime girl on the front of this package). So all in all, these are really great for beginners and more advanced artists who want to give their drawings a little more "professional" touch. They don't bleed out (so long as you don't go over the same line repeatedly and don't have REEALLY thin paper), they don't have a strong odor, and they really help with all of my issues with pencil smudging. Cuz lemme tell ya, you can't darken many drawings in pencil because of that! lol

My go-to pens for on-the-go art
GREAT FOR WATERPROOF FOR WATERCOLORS & WORK WITH ALCOHOL MARKERS. I worked at a craft store and tried so many brands with water-proof inks. I love this set for the price and sizes you get. The tiny 005 for the lightest details and largest 08 for heavy outlines. The set I had lasted a few years of consistent usage and I finally bought a second set. Only downside is that the labeling on the pens themselves can wear out over time and scratches off. Keep the correct lids of the sizes with them, because mine eventually rubbed off and that was the only way to tell without opening each pen to check the tips.

Super happy with my purchase
I bought thesee for writing/calligraphy as well as illustrating. These markers are excellent. They don't bleed or smear. They dot really seep through paper but a little noticeable on backside. Very consistet saturation. Can go over a few times with absolute no damage to paper. No annoying chewed up paper bits. I wish there was also a chisel in sepia but that's just me. The fine tips are perfect for little detail and stippling. Over all I as very satisfied with my purchase. I am grabbing another set as well as looking into more ink products from prisma color.
