SwarovskiOptik UTA, Universal Binocular to Tripod Mount for EL, SLC & EL Range Binoculars

I inquired prior to purchasing, how snug the Swaro 15x would be. One reply “ works great”. I received the adapter today and the 15x won’t fit. It’s not made for the 15x. Ridiculous! Terrible promotion on these by Swarovski. Why would they make this and not have the 15x’s fit? I have an older Leica adapter that works fine, figured I’d purchase the Swarovski to eventually replace the Leica, but obviously it ain’t going to happen. Swarovski definitely makes the best glass, but not sure about their marketing savvy. I also purchased Swarovski’s 10x25 pockets, and since find out they don’t provide lens covers for them! Outrageous. I inquired to Swarovski and they replied the covers are considered an unnecessary accessory.... I’m scratching my head and wondering what the heck?! A $1000 pair of exceptional glass and they can’t provide lens covers?! I replied if Leica provides covers for their Ultravid compacts, certainly Swarovski should be able to provide covers for their compacts.

It works well with Swaros but it really pressures the binoculars. It offers 4 positions (2x2) which is probably fine for most binoculars but not all.... I have one pair of binoculars which did not fit the "Universal" adapter, but I am still very pleased with it.It is extremely well done, extremely sturdy, which is not surprising, but it is also quite expensive, which is also to be expected...I do recommend it

Bought this for an older pair of EL 10x42 but tried them out on the pocket binoculars and it works well for that too. Sturdy and easy to use. Only (slight) complaint is the mount has just a little play on the ball head, but not enough to disrupt usage.

Lightweight and useable across a wide range of binos. Excellent Quality--you are not buying just the name.

This mount is nice and clean. Light weight with a simple design. Holds your Binos solid and is easily removed from tripod.

These binocular mount for tripod are very good, and you can mount several different brands of binoculars with ease.I use the mount for spotting game, and the mount fits easily (attached to the binoculars) into my chest mount carrying pouch for use from horseback or SXS.Unfortunately they are pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Works great with my tripods. Lost the one set screw the adapts to the smaller mount bolt. One thing that would make it better is if the bino strap stayed on, on one side as it could also be lost easily if not paying attention when taking down or setting somewhere.

Excellent product. Very well constructed and fits my 10x50 el binoculars perfectly.
