I have extremely sensitive skin and jet black hair. So anything that irritates my scalp well you get the idea. Amazon and the company that produces this product haven't had it in stock for years. YEARS! I bought 4 of these because I have no idea when this stuff is going to run out of stock and if it does when it'll come back. Great value for your money. Incredible hold, your hair will get stiff if you use a lot, you don't need much with this stuff honestly, and you can always break up the crunchy texture by apply a hair palm or wax after it dries in 10 seconds. It still retains 90% of it's hold when you do that but the wax helps break up the stiff feel. Super effective, doesn't dry out my scalp (incredible feet), no weird smells, and it's just a great product.

I have SCALP PSORIASIS and other hair sprays I would have to wash out the same day because it made my head itch even after using the medication my doctor gave me. I asked a dermatologist what hair spray would work for my very fine thinning hair. She recommended Vanicream. It holds, I can shape my hair, not sticky, no itching even leaving it on for a couple days and doesn’t feel stiff. Also, no odor and humidity doesn’t bother it. Sprays in short bursts. This is the best product.

Product works really well, maybe a little too well. My hair gets pretty hard when I use it and it is difficult to comb through.BUT, it’s better than a hairspray that doesn’t hold. Truly is fragrance free and I don’t notice any other weird smells.I guess it is important to note that the sprayer also works very well. It’s not a jet and it doesn’t get stuck, it just sprays out evenly and as you would hope for.Will buy again.

Always buy several as they sell out quickly. Hard to find. This is the top hair spray for people with scalp problems: psoriasis, dermatitis, etc. Now, it is not perfect but it feels closer than others in the same category. It doesn't hurt my skin as much as other hair sprays that claim they are "free" of harmful things. Goes on very well. Doesn't get white. Holds for extensive periods of time.

This is good hairspray for people who have sensitivities. I appreciate it, though as a former hairdresser, there would be other hairsprays that I would rather use, but I can't because of the ingredients. This hairspray holds well and does the job. Be careful not to use too much or it can feel sticky. I use the hair gel, as well.

I was surprised by how well I liked this hairspray from Vanicream. It works just as well as the standard brands and holds my hair well. It's not sticky. It has no fragrance so it's safer for my sensitive skin. I'm happy with it and will keep buying it.
