Super sharp blade.
How in the heck can such a great knife be made and sold for so little. Yah sure handle and sheath plastic but the blade is super sharp. Just a little while ago vines growing up one of my trees are now compost.

Best All Around Fixed Blade EDC
I am a recent Morakniv convert. I still love my Essee and Spyderco knives but living in the PNW I decided I needed to add some Stainless Steel to my collection and Im pretty much EDC'ing this Pro S and or my Eldris every day now. This is the second one I bought because I got a little crazy with modifying my older one and needed a new one. So here goes the review -First of all, this is not full tang. Secondly, I do not consider myself a "Bushcrafter" but I do practice a lot of woodsmanship. I got turned onto Morakniv a while back after watching a friend process a large Elk with this very knife. It just made sense for that task, stainless steel so its easy to clean and no contaminate oils and a plastic sheath that is easy to clean and resistant to mold and stains.I every day carry this knife for a variety of reasons, I will list those reasons in the pros and cons below.Pros:Low price (I do not use the word cheap because they are not cheap they are low price)The cost to benefit ratio is astoundingGood solid steelWicked sharp out of the boxEasy to touch up with stropping blockNice blade belly and tipGrip/ handle is really tacky and feels good in the handFinger guard is greatVery un-assuming- NOT TACTICOOL super knife looking- I can carry this every day without issue in most situations because it just looks very un-assuming and not "SCARY". It is a tool and it looks like a tool. The blue handle and plastic sheath just makes it look "friendly" and its Swedish... so it has to be friendly right?Sheath - This is going to go in both pros and cons - - I like the sheath because it is really easy to clean and take care of. It also has a lot of attachment options. I run a piece of paracord through the top and tie it to my belt and clip the clip to my pocket so I have a combo dangler / belt clip. I m not a fan of carrying it on my belt directly with the clip because the clip bends easy.Durable as any knife Ive owned. I carried my first version of this for a year and I put that thing through hell and it only had to be re-profiled once because I got too crazy with the edge on a piece of bone.Easy to maintain.Stainless Steel - Great for rainy weather, does not rust and easy to clean / dry and is food safe. I live in the PNW and I was sick of oiling and de-rusting my knives.Cons:I generally like the sheaths for their ease of use and carrying options but I would just love it if there was a little less flexibility in the belt portion. I feel like I immediately over stress and get stress bends right when I use them directly on my belt. I fix that by doing what I mentioned previously but it is still annoying. The bottom of the grip on this knife is not conducive to "bushcrafting" tasks for a long time and you get some hot spots on your hand if you use it for an hour or so.The spine is rounded so I had to file it down with a bastard file to get a good spark throwing 90 degree spine. All in all one of my favorite knives to use and own. It gets daily carry use just about every day that is casual clothes.Use: Daily carry, woods carry, hunting, fishing, hiking, food prep

First Impressions, Morakniv Craftline Pro S
This is a first impressions review of the Craftline Pro S by MoraknivToday I received 2 of these Mora Pro S knives. First, they arrived a day earlier than the earliest predicted date and in good condition. Thank you for the great customer service! Now, on to the blades...The sheath retains the blade even when its held upside down, and is constructed of a black plastic. There is a drain hole in the tip of the sheath to allow rainwater or other liquids to drain out of the sheath. The sheath attaches to you by way of a belt clip with the option of pushing the sheath down onto the belt (open bottomed belt loop) as opposed to having to thread the belt through it every time you wish to carry this blade with you. The belt loop is a part of the sheath and cannot be easily substituted for another attachment method, but the price is right at under 15 bucks!! I plan on drilling 2 holes in the sheath and threading some paracord through those so i can tie the sheath directly to my belt, or backpack. Also of note, the sheaths are stackable (The knob on the front side fits into a groove on the back side with locking tab, so it is possible to carry 2 blades "piggybacked" on each other.)Morakniv has a reputation for producing a good blade at a price you'll love. The Pro S is no exception. The handle is comfortable to hold and is made of plastic. There is enough texture in the handle's finish to give you good grip. If you wear bigger than an xl work glove, the handle may be a bit small for you, as i do wear an xl glove and it fits me with very little room to spare. The blade is Stainless Steel, with a Scandi Grind on the edge. Let me say, this blade is sharp enough for almost anyone right out of the box! I shaved off a few arm hairs as soon as I opened it up. The spine of the knife is not finished to 90 degrees for using a ferro rod in camp, but a flat file and 5 minutes of your time will surely correct this. At this price, its one to use hard and mod to your taste!Overall this blade has me impressed for the price. Its light, inexpensive, has a reputation for quality, and my GOODNESS is it SHARP!! What more can you ask for? Just buy one and thank me later!
