A great tasting pint of pale ale!
This was my first go at making home brew. I did a lot of searching online, looking at the equipment needed to brew your own beer. It looked expensive. Then I came across Muntons' brew-in-the-bag kits which contain everything that you need. The kit comes with simple to follow instructions. All I had to do was add the sachet of yeast included, and fill the bag with lukewarm water. Then leave it to ferment for 30 days. And that's it! The month has gone by and my beer was ready to drink a few days ago. Just fill a glass using the tap at the bottom of the bag. According to Muntons, the strength is 4.2%. The kit has given me a nice clear amber ale that I am really enjoying. Cheers!

You need patience both before & after !
I didn't know what to expect , very fiddly filling procedure , as regards pressure valve types there seems to be several variations ! I was lucky ,mine came with the most foolproof design . I sat this on a heatpad & it did everything it was supposed to . You need patience ,giving it 4 weeks minimum to mature . The lack of instruction for the dispenser is my only criticism , I had to seek help from YouTube .You need to have this in an elevated position ,& the end result is first rate with a reasonable head & head retention ! This is a brilliantly thought out design !

Would buy again
You would need a big space in a fridge if using in summer time, I bought for Xmas so kept in the garage once brewed, nice and cold, hardly any fizz but would buy again

Malty flat drink
Brewed out ok but just tasted of malt, very flat with no life at all. I've brewed beer in the past, none turned out like this. My son also had the same experience, he bought his 2 kits off ebay though. I wanted to enjoy this.

Awful, Tasted very bad
Followed all of the instructions, and after waiting over 30 days... opened it at a party after having it in the fridge all night and the taste was horrendous. Safe to say we tipped it away! which is crazy! £30 wasted.

Bit of a let down
What a shame i had i hopes for this product, but felt let down by the taste. Went to look for more similar items, but they are no longer available.

British Beer in a Bag
As a Brit abroad I miss real ale from a hand drawn pump. Well no more. This stuff is simple to make and is damn good to boot. So if you like U.K. style real ale (it’s flat guys like water, not fizzy like lager) then this is good oh. I tried first pint and it was terrible, bits in it. So left it a week and now it’s great.

Super easy for any beginner
The process described to brew it was very simple. Started the process today and will follow up in a month once the beer is ready.

Easy to make
Was very good beer. I used after 3 weeks instead of 4. Was so tasty. Read the instructions. It's easy. Nice product.
