Received bad starter
Bought this starter in May and installed it on my mower. It worked good for1 month. Now it is not working. My mower will not start .

intek 20.0 single cylinder fit/works perfect
Hurricane Idalia putthe mower under 3 feet of salt water.I was suprised when Amazon told the they would have a starter the next day. Even more suprised when they actually did it....and it fit and worked perfectly.Oil was half salt...sort of looked like burnt taffy.....Carburator waz siezed on full throttle..... but the new starter did work perfectly. I drove the mower half a lap around the beach...then the drive cogs melted and blew. Had to drag the mower back with the truck...Ordering more parts today; looking for that vender.

The bentos gear is made poorly.
The bendix gear broke the very first time I tried it. Thankfully I had the old one.
