Anyone know how to open the mask to get to the mouthpiece valve?

Sorry I haven't had to do that, should be instructions, may be on line

I wear contact lenses and cannot have any water get into my eyes - so does this mask fit tightly around the face and prevent any water into eyes area?

These masks are great. But as with any snorkle mask you must have a tight seal around your face. Ensuring your hair is out of way so you can get a tight seal. Pull elastic straps tight over back of head. Have fun!
