Should I refrigerate after opening?

Our Tahini does not require refrigeration, a cool pantry is just fine to store it for long time periods. Make sure you keep in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight or any heat source once you open the jar. Do not leave the lid open. If you don't have a cool place (i.e. summer time with no a/c at home, in southern parts of the country), you may need to refrigerate to keep it cool. Tahini will get a bit stiff, so let it warm a little before using. And make sure you stir well to mix the oil at the top completely before using.

How long can you keep and use after opening (#days/#weeks/#months)?

If I recall correctly, this item lasted well over a month in my refrigerator and provided me with much use. However, and again, if I recall correctly, it was very high in fat because of the ground up sesame seeds and I was trying to lower my fat so refrained from repurchasing this product. Hope this helps.

I am unsure. I recall using it once but prefer the Whole Foods 365 brand tahini. Sorry I can't provide more info.

How is this different than the organic version?

Organic is a labeling term that indicates that the Tahini has been produced through approved methods. The organic standards describe the specific requirements that must be verified by a USDA-accredited certifying agent. Our Organic Tahini is produced according to USDA organic certification. On the other hand, our our Natural Ground Tahini is produced using different Sesame which does not have USDA organic certification but again all natural grown Sesame.
