Cerave for the win!
I wish I known about Cerave long ago in my teens. I had such bad acne, oily skin, and tried so many different products that didn’t work or made it worse. I still had acne (not as bad) into my 30s but after noticing others my age with no acne and at my wits end, I decided to do some research for products that actually worked, not just random products I found in the drugstore skin care aisle but also not break the bank. After some thorough google research, YouTube reviews, and website reviews, I found Cerave to be a good place to start. I now use Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser and rotate out with Cerave’s Renewing SA Cleanser (once a week). I then use Cerave’s Skin Renewing Night Cream (morning and night). I also do hydrating masks once a week, quartz facial rollers from the freezer (morning and night), LED red light therapy every other night, hyaluronic acid serum (morning and night), and Jergen’s Natural Glow Face Mositurizer with SPF 20 (which I will be switching over to Cerava’s tinted sunscreen once my Jergens is gone). I no longer wear foundation because my skin has cleared, my skin tone looks much smoother, and my pores are tighter.I hope this information might be helpful to others that are struggling with skin care issues like mine. Cerave has, from my experience, provided me with a good quality skincare routine that I’ve been using for over a year now with no issues. I would like to note that I have tried Cerave’s Skin Renewing Retinol Serum that did make me breakout. I discontinued use but after reading reviews, there is a temporary retinol purge period (can last several months) that causes breakouts but is not a permanent side effect. I will probably try this product again because Retinol is suppose to help speed up skin cell turnover and is used to help reduce wrinkles, improves acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and skin tone. It pushes trapped oil and existing clogged pore debris to the surface, which is what causes the breakouts. I’m hoping that since I’ve been on this Cerave journey for over a year that I won’t breakout won’t be as bad this time around. I will update my review after I get through the breakout stage of use.

💧✨ The Cleanser That Broke Up With My Dry Skin
This cleanser is like a big drink of water for my face 🥤 It cleans without that tight squeaky “desert face” feeling and leaves my skin soft calm and happy. The creamy texture feels gentle but still gets the day off, sunscreen makeup and my questionable life choices 😅It’s fragrance free (my sensitive skin says thank you 🙏) and the giant pump bottle lasts forever. It doesn’t try to be fancy or smell like a tropical vacation but it quietly does its job like the reliable best friend in every romcom 💖Is it exciting? No. Is it the unsung hero of my skincare routine? Absolutely. For the price it’s a no-brainer to keep my skin barrier hydrated and drama free. Honestly this bottle might outlast my next skincare obsession which is saying something. And when I forget to moisturize (oops) this still leaves me feeling like I tried.

Fantastic Cleanser-New Fan of CeraVe!
I bought this without a lot of hope to be honest. I'm older, late 50s, and my skin has been a mess of dry skin and break outs for the last few years. This cleanser has 'smoothed out' my issues. No more breakouts, and my face feels more supple. I can't believe the difference! I sent some to my sister, who just turned 60, pretty sure she's going to love it too. I've ordered CeraVe lotion and toner, hopefully they are as good as this product.

My favorite facewash
This is my favorite facewash. It is the foundation of my skin care routine. The quality is great, and my face always feels super smooth and hydrated afterwards. It is easy to use and I personally like the ingredients. My face never feels dry after using it. The product appears as a light milky cream, and a bit translucent. I like the way it looks. It does not feel heavy and does not leave any residue on my face. I have been using it for years and it has changed my face for the better. I highly recommend if you have dry skin like me, but really dislike heavy products.

My go to
This is my go to face cleanser that I use for sensitive skin that I have been using for years. It is amazing. I love the consistency. You can get a lot of water on it and make it more sun, but I like the fact that it’s not extremely Suzy it removes make up really well and I use some very hard-core makeup like Estée Lauder Tupperware. It’s not aggravating to the skin. I have purchased it for absolute years and would continue to purchase it.

Clear, Hydrated Skin at Last!
I've tried so many skincare products over the years, but this is by far the best I’ve used. I used to struggle with frequent breakouts and dry, flaky skin, especially around my cheeks and forehead. Since using this, my skin feels balanced and smooth. I rarely break out now, and the dryness is completely gone. It’s made a huge difference in my confidence and daily routine. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with both acne and dryness!

Easy to use and keeps my skin clear and hydrated
My go-to skincare product for about a year now. I switched to this from the Renewing SA Cleanser because I felt that it was drying my skin out a lot and I wasn't fond of the gritty texture. It took about 2 weeks for my skin to adjust to this one, but once it did I haven't looked back. I apply it every day in the shower, and I rarely break out anymore. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed.
