Good quality collapsible bottle.
Excellent collapsible canteen. It does not leak. Distance backpackers use this type of thick collapsible bottle as a reusable, cleanable bottle as urine bottle inside their tent, so they don't have to go out into the cold at night. Get the 96 oz version if available.

Great pee bottle
These are tough little bottles. Got it, filled it to check for leaks with a lot of pressure on the bladder. I saw a couple complaints of leaking at the seams but mine was perfect. Its a good wide mouth, really light weight and great for a camping pee bottle as nasty and simple as it may be, it is effective for that task, with no leaking

Not just for backpackers or campers
These are such a genius design. They pack flat and take up almost no room but they hold plenty of liquid. I bought two to take on a road trip around Iceland. I had a very strict carry-on limit to adhere to so a traditional bottle would have taken up too much space and weight. I also plan to use it in situations where I might finish my drink and have to carry the empty bottle around, like walking around a city for a day or attending a festival. Having a packable one is much less of a pain. I used these bottles daily for about two weeks. Iceland is known for its delicious water and these containers did not seem to give the water an "off" taste. When filled with water, they are able to stand up on their own which was handy. I kept them in the pocket of the car door. They are also fairly easy to clean, although personally I do not plan to use them for anything but water. The material is tough and seems like it will hold up for a long while yet. The wide mouth allows me to use my water filter too which will be handy for future adventures.

Nice Cantene!
I love this cantene! It makes it easy for me to remember to drink more water, since I don't have to fill it up as often as the usual 16oz or 24oz bottle. The compact design is perfect for school or traveling. I love that it's easy to stand the bottle up, even when below half full. The loop that comes from the lid makes for a nice carrying handle, which I enjoy rather than freezing my hand off while holding the body of the cantene. I foresee this being easier to fill up at public water fountains, which usually require me to tilt my water bottles to fill them up. My only issues, although very minor, are in the aesthetics. I'd prefer different colors (darker blues, or blacks, even grays). I also don't care for the Typefaces that are used on the bottle. In no way do these things ruin the usability of the bottle, so I don't mind letting them slide.

Great container for extra water
We carried this on our Kalalau backpacking trip. When water sources were frequent, we opted to store this container empty. When empty, it takes up very little room and can conform to any space available within your backpack. We noticed that even though we folded it and curled it up when we stored it empty, it maintained its integrity and never formed any leaks. When we wanted or needed to go longer without a water fill break, then we filled this up and carried it with us. An extra 48+ fluid ounces is a great thing to be able to have, especially when the weight and space cost of that container when empty is super small. The only downside to this container is that, when full, you cannot carry it like a typical bottle (eg in a traditional bottle holder pocket on the side of your backpack). But we simply stored it inside the backpack and when our bottles at our sides became dry, we would refill them from this container. Also, this is a great container for camp. It was very convenient to fill up all of our containers when we were camped such that we had plenty of cooking water, cleaning water, and drinking water.

Great product and durable.
If you need something foldable and flexible these do the trick. The classic Nalgene top seals perfectly. I actually use mine as a pee bag while camping so a good seal is crucial!

Great wide mouth alternative to Platypus
Great quality bag and volume (48 oz). Large opening makes filling and cleaning a breeze which is great because these types of bottles can get pretty filthy over time. I prefer the bladder-style bottles for traveling and camping because they roll up into a smaller footprint when empty. I have the wide mouth Nalgene and the Platypus. Of the two, I prefer the Platy for drinking and condensed size when empty. I also like that it has a cary loop, but it holds less water. The Nalgene is prefered for public filling and easy cleaning. By public filling I mean from prefiltered supplies via nozzle distribution. When I travel to Africa we purchase and/or filter water for consumption and it's dispensed via pump or gravity nozzle from 5 gallon jugs. Because the openings are small in the Platy, it awkward when sharing a supply with a large group as the opening is only slightly larger than the nozzle - read people don't want your mouth germs on the nozzle. Ha. Even if you wash it in advance, you still draw looks and you can't be sure others have kept it clean as well. For gravity filtration in-camp where my gear is my own, this is great. I pre-filter 2 liters and then hang the clean bag and fill the Platy with the hose. Beautiful. The Nalgene is easy for this as well in-camp, and much better with the nozzle flow as it's got the same wide diameter opening as a standard bottle. Again, washing this out is a breeze and you can even use a dish wand which is helpful. Pros: - small when empty - good quality - easy to fill and clean - stands up ok when filled above half way - fits well in water bladder sleeve for storage (no straw) - can be tucked around objects in a bag as it's malleable Cons: - doesn't stand up well when below half volume - doesn't fit in expandible fabric backpack bottle pockets NEARLY as well as standard, rigid bottles (if at all) - doesn't get as small as the Platypus version - I prefer the smaller opening on the Platy for drinking, it's like the opening on a Smart Water bottle, etc. and you can drink it easily on the move without it spilling because the entire thing fits in the mouth easily.

Great water bottle for backpacking! Much lighter than a standard Nalgene.

Tal cual, la calidad es la esperada pero no por ser de uso rudo se debe abusar de su resistencia

Nalgene make really good fluid containers and this one is no exception. Those wide mouth containers are frankly great for pee bottles (as many dirt baggers and campers will privately attest) for both sexes. This was purchased specifically for light weight winter trekking in Nepal in sub zero conditions, but has been a really useful addition to my fluid management stable ever since. When it's -15C in your tent or tea house room you'll be thankful for a means of answering the call of nature without prejudicing your down sleeping bag and without having to brave an unlit squat toilet with ice around the rim, trust me. Whatever your cold or tepid fluid requirements, this does the is lighter than the hard-wall bottles and it roles down small when empty. The plastic got stiffer at sub zero temperatures. The plastic is safe for freezing (e.g. filling it with water, freezing and using as an ice pack) but I'd hesitate to recommend this for continuous use requiring flexing and rolling up at extreme low temperatures. It is NOT safe for boiling fluids, unlike the hard-wall bottles which are perfect as hot water bottles at night (leaving you drinking water in the morning - just don't get your bottles confused...)
