This replaced my dying Weller. I hope it lasts b/c I really like this iron. It's lightweight, has a slim build and sits well in-hand, LED's can be on or off during use, the stand is actually balanced and doesn't topple over when used (even w/o using the sticky pad on bottom), decent tip selection, sleeve/collar tip retention design works well and is secure, it gets to temp very quickly... They even give you a Velcro wrap for the cord. They thought of everything as far as i can tell after about 6 hours of use @550*. Would definitely buy again.

The kit waws very good, unfortunately it was missing a few items but regardless of that small issue everything else that was included seemed to be solid quality and the included little box case could come in clutch for carrying it around. Solid kit would recommend for people that need a full setup!

For as little as I solder on small intricate components it got the job done. Not a bad value. Would not recommend for those that use this regularly.

This is cheap quality and I wish I bought a better one. It does not seem to heat up metal enough to melt the solder well, the short cord is ackward and the stand tips over.

Bought this for soldering speaker wires 18 gauge stuff mostly. Works great heats up super fast. Comes with everything you need to get started. I diy occasionally the price was appropriate for what I’m going to use.

I don't give out 5 stars that easily.If you don't know how to solder this is a great tool to learn with. A lot of different tips for large soldering task to the smallest like PC boards.Give yourself time and practice of soldering things.Like the adjustable temp with this tool. Not all need high temperatures to solder completely and not melting sensitive plastics.
