Bushnell - Engage EDX - Binoculars - 12x50 - Roof prism - Black - EXO Barrier

What we have here in the Bushnell engage EDX 10x50 is a mid priced Chinese roof prism binocular with ed glass, a dielectric coating, phase coating and the exo barrier dust, water ect repellent coating which replaces the rainguard hd found on the Legend L and M series and apparently is an improvement… build quality on this engage is good but not exceptional ( I have the Legend M series 10x42 ) and this engage is not quite up to that standard. Eye relief on this engage is given as 15mm which is the same as the Legend m 10x42 but the view through these 10x50’s with my glasses on gave me almost the complete field of view… compared to the Legend m which is very restricted by comparison. Optically the engage is VERY good…superb contrast & resolution at least if not better than a Nikon monarch HG i looked through last year which although was extremely well built and made in Japan was not convincing optically for the money…the 10x50 engage handles very well too, the extra length and bigger body means there is more to hold on to and the weight compared to for example the Bushnell Legend L series 10x42 which is fairly lightweight does not feel significantly more cumbersome or heavy in the slightest. What you get with this 10x50 is a lovely engaging, immersive tack sharp view! Amazon uk currently is offering these on a resale used like new.. at a significantly reduced price. Don’t miss out!
