Good detail
I am happy with this piece. It allowed me to see greater detail than my 10x piece that I’ve owned. I also bought another set that had a 30x and 40x piece from a different brand; I was surprised that this 20x let me see greater detail than the other brand. I would recommend this if you want a 20x piece.

Limited field of view
Provides good magnification, but the outer 1/3 of the field of view is blurred (aberration?) Would have asked for a replacement, but missed the window by one day.

Good quality
Good quality. This loupe is very sturdy and came with a nice zipper case and a lanyard. I got it to try and see the laser inscription on a lab diamond. To my disappointment I couldn’t see it. I know my diamond should have an inscription because I have the IGI certificate from my jeweler. I had a hard time focusing on my other pieces of jewelry. Could be that I’m 70 and my eye sight just isn’t as good, I prefer my 10x loupe.

Exactly as advertised
It is a strong magnifier, but it takes a lot of light. You have to use it near a bright light source. The shadow of your hand/arm will render it nearly useless. Now I know why so many loupes have an LED light as part of the appliance. I am glad that I own it. I bought it to breach my free shipping threshold, but I do use magnifiers to work on fountain pens, electronics and to read the nomenclature on small batteries; so this fits my tool box just fine. The field of view is small.

Only a fraction of the image circle is usable
Despite the 20mm size only the center (maybe) half of the image is usable. Outside of that there is too much distortion.

Great loup
My partner asked for a stronger loupe when we go out to flea markets

Very narrow field of view...
Narrow field of view makes it difficult to see the details...
