MERKUR Slant Bar MK-37C, Double Edge Safety Razor

Steel quality is very good and so for no rusting after using nearly more than a year. Perfect angle.

Good razor but thread is sensitive. Should not be overtight.

I have used the Merkur 37c Slant for 8 years of the 9 years I've been wet shaving. I started with a Merkur 34c, which was excellent for daily shaves, but wanted to try the slant, and I'm glad I did. It is a perfect second razor, but I don't recommend starting out on it until you've had some practice wet shaving. The slant razor is more aggressive than than the 34c, but not overly so. It's more comfortable than the 34c because there's less "pulling" on the hair. This is the key to comfortable shaves on 2-3 day stubble. I don't like the pulling sensation the 34c gives me on 3 day stubble, but the slant glides right through the hair. The Slant, like all Merkur products, is built to last a lifetime. That being said, I did manage to break mine through carelessness, but I ordered another right away because it is a superior product. The Merkur 37c Slant is a fantastic razor and I strongly recommend it if you're looking for a moderately aggressive razor.

Well worth the money. Gives a closer shave than any other razor I’ve had in my long life.

Rase plus près encore que le Muhle à peigne ouvert. Sa lame hélicoïdale est merveilleuse et ce Merkur 37c, quand il est utilisé avec prudence, se rapproche de l'efficacité du coupe-choux. Il est aussi très beau, d'allure moderniste avec sa tête de guingois.
