Great Little Amp
I was a little unsure of the power of this little amp and its ability to perform. It is absolutely worth the money. Solid and well built, it has a surprisingly amount of power.

Sounds great, excelkent value
I gad the 500 chicken head version and loved it, it got fried in a lightingstrike. This new version is louder, better looking and sounds great. I use it for a jazz band and also gig with it for an original Rock band. It excels in both. I also run a DI out directly to the board . The combo speaker outs are a plus, tuner works great. The tuner does not mute the DI so beware. Fan is still loud but functions to keep it from crashing so no real complaints. I run it thru either a SWR 4/10 or a Peavey headliner 2/10. Tone shaping is great the knobs do affect the sound in a full spectrum way. The boost switches are all significant as well. If you cant get a good tone from this amp , maybe switch to tuba

IT DIED AFTER 1 GIG. PEAVEY WILL NOT REFUND.
IT DIED AFTER 1 GIG.During rehearsal it started making a white noise sound. Then I tapped on the case and it stopped and worked normally. I carefully put it on the table next to my cabinet and played the gig. When I got home, it was completely dead. I played the entire gig with the Master on 2, so It was nowhere near overheated or over worked.I called Peavey and they won't give me my money back. They said to call some local guy who told me that it will take months to get parts. He told me to buy a new head.$400 down the drain. The only thing that works is the tuner.

Not the Greatest
This has let me down a few times in a live setting and it's gaslit me in the process. Is it the cabinet? Is it the cable? Is it the amp?It works. It's just picky how it wants to work. Seems to be a faulty Speakon output. Could probably get it fixed, but the amp isn't really worth it. The 1/4" works, just not the 4 pole (or 2 pole, I don't know).Lots of buttons and gadgets, but who cares when all you want to do is get the thing to output to the cabinet.I ended up buying something much more reliable (Aguilar).

Adequate and punchy!
I've been playing local clubs many years. As I get older, I've been looking for an update, a smaller, less weight amp would be ideal. Think I found it. This amp is punchy and great lower responses and tone controls to get exactly what I'm looking for. Psycho-Acoustic Bass Enhancement adds a lot of PUNCH, I like it. Chromatic tuner is very handy and works very well. Powers up my Peavey speaker cabinet with one 15" Peavey BW 1508 4 ohm speaker with plenty to spare. All under 5 lbs.
