funny and cute!
Got this for our 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She had been trying to tell knock knock jokes and didn't quite have the pattern down (though her own versions are hilarious and we continue to encourage her to make up her own!). She immediately sat down to read this, and even though she can't actually "read" yet, the pictures support the words and she can read/remember all the words on the pages... who knew it would turn into a useful teaching tool, as well as provide all of us with many laughs! She reads it daily and tells the jokes at preschool and to relatives. The jokes are cute, understandable, and non-offensive, perfect for a 4 year old. The only very slight downsides that I can see are that the book and pictures may be a little too baby-ish for a child over 5 or so, and all of the jokes are name-based. Overall a great find, and definitely added to our daughter's already rich sense of humor!

Knock-knock. Who's there? A great little book
My 4-year-old grandson got a kick out of the one knock-knock joke I remembered, so I thought he would be ready for more. Not only did he "get" all of these sweet and/or silly ones, the book format with the "answer" under a flap is fun and may even start teaching him how to read! My favorite is "Knock-knock. Who's there? Olive. Olive who? Olive you very much." That's a grandma joke if there ever was one.

Super cute
Perfect joke book for 5-6 year olds who are just starting to read. The jokes punchline is under various “lift the flaps” inside the book. Nice pictures and colors. Only a few jokes though, wished there was more

Who's There?
This book is short and aimed at a young auedience, just what I was looking for for a 5 year old Grandson. He was just getting into the concept and, frankly, the same two "Knock Knock jokes he could muster on his own began to grow old, even for him. This book gives hin a starting point and a way to better undestand the concept. And, for those who are ar=afraid that this is a form of bullying, think back. We all did it, it was fun, no one got hurt and any time a child uses his or her inagunation in the computer age, I say it is a good thing.

A great read allowed!
I purchased this joke book for my 6 year old son who is always looking for a good joke! He loved it! It is short and is not a long list of jokes but instead there is one joke per 2 pages with a pull open flap with the answer to the knock knock joke. I was very glad he could read it himself and even though the book it meant for younger children, he was able to read it to his younger siblings and they all had a laugh. Well worth the money.

10 jokes for $7.99!
Shame on me for not reading the reviews first...I saw all those stars and didn't think it was necessary! Anyway, I bought this book for my 7-year old son with the hopes that it could be an ice-breaker at school, but the description should more clearly specify and warn parents that this book is intended for pre-schoolers ONLY. The book is well-made, but it has only 10 jokes and they're not the funniest I've heard either...I would only recommend this if your very young child has to present something for show & tell since, despite its limitations, it is very nicely packaged.
