ECCO Men's Exostrike Hydromax Hiking Boot

This is absolutely the most comfortable footwear I could have ever wanted or desired! I am a UPS driver and have been for some time. I am not easy on my workwear. A lot of wear and tear has gone on with these boots. I have spent years trying to find footwear of this caliber. Being on my feet for 12 hours a day most days and dealing with primarily concrete surfaces, and upwards of 7-12 miles of walking distance per day, these boots hold up NO PROBLEM! I don't count the seconds until I can get my work boots off anymore. I truly don't mind how long I wear these. The comfort never fades, nor do I feel fatigue after a long days work. I have suffered from a sore back for many years, this shoe/boot has taken that sinario and basically eliminated my lower back pain. I can't believe the difference it has made on my personal life when I get home or on the weekends. There were days when I just didn't want to move because the pain was so bad. After wearing these boots for 2 weeks i felt like a new person. Amazing product! I will never purchase another pair of work shoe/boots from another company. They have won over my loyalty. I hope they never stop production of this hiking style of footwear. I am ordering my second set today for just weekend errends and working around the farm.

I am an active guy, and have Hanwag boots, Lowes, and am always searching for a great boot.The search is over and I am going to buy extras, just in case Ecco decides to stop making them.Just arrived today, and the fit is amazing, the support and comfort are beyond belief.I was already in my nearby streambed, rolling boulders. They are imazing.Now I have Born, Merrell, and everything else you can imagine - none compare!I do not write reviews or make positives about shoes. This one is an exception.Amazing comfort. Amazing support. Love the look.Full disclosure: I have a narrowish foot, and have been 10.5 for Merrills for years, and at times find 10.4/44 too small; not with these Eccos. Fit is perfect for me in both length and width. In Lowes and other heavier boots, I'm a Euro 44.5-45.Last comment: For my uses - I get things dirty, sorry - I would prefer if Ecco downplayed the white mid-sole with the grey and tan options. Dirt can stain that white and make it kind of ugly. I prefer if Ecco would make the tan and grey with dark mid-soles -pick the color, but not white. That said I do have the choice of black leather or mocha, but is limiting.

Fit better then expected. I usually go a size larger (48 vs 47) to make up for one of my feet getting wider but I gave it a shot and am glad I did. Not insulated but I also tried them on with some thick merino wool socks and they fit fine there also. I have arthritic feet and I don’t feel any strange lumps in the soles like I do with many non Ecco shoes I’ve tried on. Went out briefly in the snow and the snow didn’t cling to the bottom of the boots when I came in, like a few other Ecco boots I have. Soles seem more cushioned then the last couple ecco’s I’ve bought, witch were Track 4 or 5 boot and shoes. I think I got what I paid for.( around 200$)

These seem to be well made and are very attractive and comfortable. They do not run true to size, not even close. I was replacing a pair of Ecco boots that had been listed as Size 12. They were marked 47. I ordered these in size 46. These were noticeably longer than the size 47. I lined them up against pairs of sneakers that are size 12 and dress shoes that are 12. These are much more than 1/2 a size larger.So, if you are buying these, especially from this seller - 3Dsquare - consider ordering one size down.

I purchased these boots last month. For the past 5 years, I have been wearing RED WINGS, I liked them, but they were not comfortable for every day walking and standing; therefore, I decided to go with the Ecco since I owned a pair of Ecco a few years back, and my experience was very satisfying. I have been wearing these shoes every day at my workplace, walking around the factory on concrete flooring for over 12 hours, and I have no back pain or foot pain issues. The breaking-in period was less than a week; boots fit like a glove.

I wear 3 brands of shoes now that I have extra spending money as empty nesters. Olukai, New Balance and Ecco. I had a catastrophic foot and ankle accident with many surgeries. This is my second pair of these Ecco boots, 2 different colors, and they are perfect for protection and comfort to an ankle that needs TLC and support. Additionally, I wore them in deep snow in the Alps and didn't get any moisture into my socks due to the excellent way it is built. Love these!

Very comfortable as I would expect from Ecco shoes. Its like walking on air. It’s my second pair of these boots in a different color. Love the gray! Being that I own multiple pairs of Ecco’s and one other pair of the same boot, I know that the size conversion chart is inaccurate. Order one size smaller than what the chart might suggest.

These boots are fantastic except for the heels rub on back of heel. Really hurts and got bloody on my last hike.
