Great tester for the Money
This thing is amazing. It can detect most everything I've thrown at it. For the price it is a great product.

Amazing little tool for the price
For the price, this is amazing. It works better than I expected. I had to modify the case slightly but that took only a few minutes with the rotary tool. I’ve tried using it for in-circuit testing of transistors with mixed results but for loose components it is easier to use than the transistor tester in my multimeter and I expect it to be a big help in my shop, especially in sorting out my collection of old “mystery” components.

Great little tester with case... Missing Assembly Instructions resulting in a bit of guesswork
Great little tester, and it works nicely! Just wish it had some instructions on it's assembly, if not printed, maybe part of the description here or a link to a YouTube video like the one where they show how to adjust the contrast...Like somebody else commented, will be a bit of work replacing the battery eventually, and the apparently missing socket (bare contacts on the board) makes one wonder if there's a piece missing, as do the extra cuts/grooves on some of the case pieces. But nicely looking transparent case!"I'm satisfied with my care"

Device works, expect to modify case.
No instructions are included or linked in the listing or packaging. The battery will be difficult to change, but overall it works and that's all I care about. Thanks!

Results not reliable enough to make it useful for transistors.
I bought this solely to quickly identify the type and ECB leads of transistors. Unfortunately, out of my large batch of unknowns it only correctly identified about 50% of them. Showed transistors as one resistor, a capacitor, two diodes, or not able to identify. All the ones it did not identify I put on the curve tracer and they plotted fine. It works OK for pure resistors and capacitors after shorting 123 and running the calibration. Will search for something that costs more but actually works more consistently.

Easy to use
i bought this based on my friends recommendation as I am doing CB Radio repair. It's great to test transistors and other electronic parts. Easy to use. Plug in the part into any slot and hit the button. Good price, good purchase.

Tester is great, case is silly
The tester itself is great and worth the money by itself. The case has a serious flaw in that it seats the board so far away from the test pad that you have to use tweezers to set a flat mount component in there. It's like playing the old "Operation" game from the 70's. The case could be fixed by simply drilling the start test button hole bigger and providing a taller nylon riser.

Good Tester
The media could not be loaded. Using this to test solder in through hole board components. The only DIY was to assemble the plex case which is a little bit of a juggling act to get together. Had to read reviews to understand how to use it and how it works which prompted the videos. Seamed a little expensive for what it is but a lot easier to use than my Fluke and I like the descriptions and multiple readings on same page.
