When planning for my recovery from hip replacement I knew I'd need a handy but durable grabber at home. So I had a slightly used one loaned to me, a new one in a "recovery kit" from the hospital and ordered this grabber from Amazon. This grabber gets 8 STARS!! FYI anyone that can't bend over for awhile, have grabbers in multiple rooms! This grabber has a wonder grip and works very smoothly. It will fold and fit in a drawer, but easily slides back together. I even picked up my cell phone when I dropped it. It's a life safer!! I highly recommend this product and also quick delivery!!

Nice length graspers that are so helpful, especially after hip surgery when I can’t bend over to grab things.Nothing fancy but long enough to grab things off the floor, and can grasp even a lip balm.I got two of these, one hanging in the bathroom and another in the kitchen.

Great for picking up trash. Light weight, works reliably.

Works great for grabbing -- a sweater left out of arm's reach, a notebook on a bench, even a cashew piece that fell on the floor. Magnet on one side is a nice touch. I bought a similar item but returned it when the metal rod bent with light use. This one seems sturdier, so far, but I wouldn't try picking up anything too heavy. Fun to use.

In all fairness it was only 9$ and got here in 2 days..... I gave it 5 stars because for the promptness and price, it's worth it. However, if you plan to use it for items heavier than a couple of pounds, it may not hold up. The magnet is about the size of pencil lead, but I didn't even know a magnet came with it. I was able to pick up small things like nuts and bolts with the magnet. Be careful with the clips - very fragile.

This assisted Grabber is amazing, my daughter is 8 and 1/2 months pregnant and she has a hard time bending down with how big her belly has gotten. She has a 15-month-old son and this helps her pick up all of his toys and things that she cannot reach when I'm not home. The fact that you can choose between six colors is nice and it helps us find it easier when it's put in a corner. It's very functional when you pull the lever it holds on to whatever you grab the accuracy depends on the person because obviously if you're unsteady with your hands then you're going to have a harder time grabbing on to something but the device itself works great. Highly recommend for anybody that needs help getting stuff off the floor.

Compared to *some* of the other ones on the market, this is more sturdy, but it still has a failure point in that if you try to pick up anything remotely more than like half a pound, it will pull the head out of the other tube. I also somehow cut myself on it when that happened and had a really bad wound for a few days. It has an average reach length, and works fine for grabbing things far away, I enjoy the color as well. However, I can't give it more than 3 stars cause I injured myself using it. Lol. But that was probably a freak accident. That said, I'm not sure I'd pay the same price again seeing some of the other ones on Amazon now.

Was very pleased with this 'Grabber' !The 'pincer' works well; was able to pick up a book very easily.The handle was easy on my hand and easier to open and close w/ very little force.Loved the color and the fact that grabber is not super long (which makes it very EZ to handle).
