Mid to Pro quality at low price
The title says it all... this stand is made of tough materials, to make it durable. Let's start with the cons... the wheels are a bit of a let down. They don't move smoothly and damage the overall rating of the rest of the product. The boom pole can't carry much, so the fixed weigh at the end of it is equal to the weight of the microphone it can carry at the most. The pros are: it's easy to work with and folds into a smaller storage size. While open it reaches far beyond what every studio might need. Even with a 10 feet green screen at the background, it can still be out of the frame. I wish they added a ball head or joints, so it can double as a crane for a camera, but as it is, I'm very impressed and think that it justifies its price.

Very good for the price. Huge, durable.
Very good studio boom stand for the price. It's heavy and stays standing--my large condensers can go the full 8' off to the side without needing sandbags. If you've only used the cheap folding kind, this studio type changes everything. Easy to get a mic up over a drum set wherever you want it.My only complaint is that the wheels are cheap and don't roll that well. But after 4 years, everything is still good, nothing has worn out.

Nothing better for the money
I rely on customer reviews anytime I shop online. When considering this microphone boom I wanted to first and foremost ensure the build quality was good and that it would get the job done. When it arrived and upon opening the box (shipped via a box within a box as it should) I was impressed. Yes, it is heavy (25 pounds) but that helps ensure it provides a stable platform to hold a variety of microphones with the boom fully extended.I tested the boom at full extension and noticed no droop at all. All components are sturdy and work well. The wheels work OK when the legs are fully extended but not well if the legs are only partially extended. No issue. One could substitute higher quality silicon wheels as an option. Overall, you will not find anything better at this price.

Casters are terrible. Otherwise good.
This is very heavy and I find it useful for all sorts of set-ups around my shop as I photograph or video my work. It can hold a small camera. It's very heavy which makes it stable. But after two years of trying to move this around the shop floor with the dreadful casters, I replaced the casters. What a difference! If you get this stand, do yourself a favor and get some proper casters at the same time - 25mmxM8 is the bolt length and size. That will be $10-15 on the casters - well spent I assure you.

Sturdy!
I have read some reviews that speak about the wheels, I don't use them so I can't really comment on their quality. As for the stand itself... It is HEAVY, seriously. This is not a portable stand. If that is what you need, get something else. But, this thing if staying in one location, or only moving it infrequently is awesome for the price. I never worry about it. I can set it to any position and it is rock solid. I wish my light stands were buit with the same quality, AxxesAbles, please build some light stands!

Broke within a few months
The turnstile broke within a few months, so I had to use the metal to hold it up, but turned every time. Wasn’t good…just became a back up
