I got mine today but don't understand how to use the push release?

Put your dominant hand's index finger through the plastic loop, push the release with the finger, pull downward on the knife's handle (tang), and withdraw the blade downward with your remaining fingers and thumb (same hand) out of the sheath (scabbard) and proceed. What size hardware do I need to attach this to a belt?

The sheath actually has slots for a belt loop, somewhat thin though, best with nylon.
