My first ipad!
My first ipad!! Whoa!! I bought this ipad right around the beginning of covid and have consistently used it since. It's not my first tablet for digital art overall, but it's a thousand leagues above anything else I've ever used. For starters, it's so slim! I know it's not slimmer than the newer models, but it's considerably slim compared to every other art tablet I've had. I have had absolutely 0 mechnical issues with it and it's still running exceptional despite it being a 4 year old tablet. It pairs well with the first generation apple pencil and there were no lag issues between now and then.I use the ipad for art mostly so screen quality/picture quality is a MUST. That said, the colors appear more vibrant on the ipad than it does on my computer screen. That could be because of different screen settings, but I find that I really like how everything looks on the ipad screen. This ipad model is pretty sturdy, but I may be biased. Because it was my first apple ipad, I gave it a lot of care. My ONLY issue with it now, and it's not the ipads fault, just more that I underestimated my own artistic capbilities, is the storage space. Once you run out of space, your art programs start to slow down. That's the ony reason why I'm upgrade models, hah. Even then, the ipad still runs pretty well so it will remain my back up once the new model comes in.Overall, I think its a great starter ipad for artists, though I do recommend getting something with more storage space.

Golden Apple
I did venture out into the Amazon, pre-Black Friday abyss this year to pick up the 2019 10.2 iPad. There was a nation-wide sale on the model, which is basically entry level. (It does not pack the firepower of the iPad Pro or some of the niceties of the Air, but it was good enough for what I needed.)I had an old, early generation Fire back in the day. It was bigger than the (iPhone4!) phone and I used it for insomniac bed surfing. Mostly web news stuff with an occasional web stream. 3 years back, I moved to an Asus hybrid convertible. The Fire eventually outlived its usefulness and performance. The Asus proved to be too heavy, too hot, and too short on lithium life. Plus, I got really tired of going to pick it up, by the screen, and having the keyboard fall on the floor. It still abides. As a laptop. Okay, an under-performing laptop. The thing I like about Apple is style, substance, and simplicity. To paraphrase a developer from years back: The sh*t just works. You could take a sampling of Cupe products and give them to toddlers and they would be using them in less than an hour, I suspect. Simple, intuitive...unobtrusive.The 10.2 is no exception. I was already versant in iOS GUI, but the split screening, handwriting support, and batt life were still impressive. I also added an after-market keyboard that features a pivot for pretty much every usage configuration and angle possible in physics. There was some give—in the lack of under glass, stereo speaker support, slower processor, and WiFi throughput—but for what I needed? As the developer said: It just works. There’s also a legacy audio port. So the lack of stereo in landscape viewing mode is not such a drawback. You’ve got plug and play binaural anyway.All-in-all, worth the coin.

iPad 7th Generation - Rose Gold
This was my first iPad I have ever purchased so I have to admit, I was scared when I bought it. I purchased this during Black Friday as a way for me to take notes in my college classes. I have been looking at reviews and watching videos for a while before I decided to go with this 7th generation iPad.When I received this iPad (along with my purchase of the Apple Pencil), I was shocked to see that no bubble rap surrounded my iPad box for extra protection. When I opened it, I was glad to see there were no damages to anything whatsoever. But on that note, I realized that companies like Apple put a lot of money into their packaging to avoid such damages, so no complaints.I have been using this for a few weeks now and truthfully, this was definitely a great purchase! I enjoy taking notes on this, watching videos, and etc. The camera, sound, battery life, and compatibility with the pen is beyond amazing. And everything from the description, such as the lightning to USB cable and the USB power adapter came with it inside the box. This was definitely worth the price!(FYI, in the picture shown, I had put a screen protector on my iPad already)

Very beautiful and useful for its price!
I love this thing! Its a great ipad for the price. I have been hsing it every day for a week. I use this for accessing my college classes, and i also use it with he first generation apple pencil to take notes and draw/sketch. Its very responsive and fast! The screen quality is fantastic for what im using it for (Video viewing is also nice! But i dont use it for that). Using the on-screen keyboard was also very nice! I have only had minor problems using it, but for the most part (when sideways) im able to type pretty fast and accurately with it!The only problem i encountered was flashplayer not being available on it (might be a google chrome browser peoblem, though?) But the only time that becane a problem was during one little obscure homework thing, so it probably wont effect much. The 32 gig storage is also a little short. Its not an issue for me, since I can airdrop important items tonmy macbook. You can also get an accesory to let you attach a USB thumbdrive to the ipad as well.Overall, a very good product! I had no issues with mine setup-wise, or cosmetic wise, either. Its very beautiful!
