Good quality, waterproof and comfortable
This waterproof hat has become one of my most used for hiking & dog walking. I've not tried it in the winter months yet, but it's comfortable (not too hot / sweaty) to wear during the warmer months. Waterproof as described, fully adjustable, and just ideal. Good quality wet weather companion!

Baseball cap perfection
This cap is absolutely perfect. As a glasses wearer, baseball caps are a great way to shade the sun and keep rain off the specs. The only trouble with regular caps, though, is that when the rain really pours, the cap can get sodden and heavy. Not all caps fit too well, either. I’ve only used this cap a couple of times, but I’m mighty impressed. The finish is perfect, clean stitching, great quality, materials, it’s ultra light and more than big enough for large bonces, but fits smaller heads, with plenty of adjustment. In black it looks smart, going with all clothes. Finally, yes it’s 100% water proof in the absolute downpour I used it in…..brilliant, it’s my go to cap, I can’t see me wearing the others, now! To top it off, the main cap is super thin and breathable, so the peak can store in the cap and so it’s ultra compact. The price is higher than most cheapo caps, but it’s that good, it’s worth every penny, just buy one…….now!

Fits deep.
Sits deep on my head, down to my ears, but still baggy over the top. Other reviewers appear to like the fit, so maybe my ears are too high. It will be ok for trekking in rain (reason for purchase) maybe in conjunction with rain-shell hood, but style will preclude general wear for me. I fully expect it to be waterproof and breathable as advertised, the construction looks ok but nothing special and it is nice and lightweight. Headband within hat is loose, especially at the front. This is my first sealskinz product and I am a little disappointed in the fit, feel and style. It isn’t ‘street’ in my view, but of course it probably isn’t meant to be. A more American ‘baseball’ style would sit higher on the noggin, but be more likely to blow off in wind, and give less protection from rain and cold. White printed branding and unwanted wordage could easily be obscured or reduced if desired, with a Sharpie or similar.

great hat, which should last!
Replaced my Lowe Alpine Triplepoint Ceramic hat, which was very good whilst it lasted, but the waterproof laminate on the inside of the cap had no mesh protection, and so over time the sweat from my bald head, ate into the laminate waterproofing, and it broke down! The sealskinz on the other hand has a lining to protect the waterproof laminate, which also adds a degree of extra comfort. I fully expect this cap to last, therefore.Recommended plus plus!

If you want to get ahead, get a hat
Excellent.I'd wondered whether to buy one of these for a couple of years but had been put off by the price. Caps are always a bit hit and miss when it comes to comfort and fit. Some sit too high on the head, others pinch across the forehead. This just fits really well. A good deep cap that fits really securely and doesn't feel as though it's going to blow away. The peak is a moderate length, but more than adequate for keeping rain or glare off. I'd have liked the brim to be a little more curved, but that might have compromised the depth of the hat so I'll happily do without it. When pulled down properly it doesn't have that ugly loose, baggy look on the head - at least with the shape my head is. I take a size 7.5 hat and there's ample space in the adjuster for a bigger head. And it's waterproof. Completely. The water beads on the surface and the small amount of hair I have stays dry. I've worn it in heavy rain and it worked well. The hat I received was black and had the words 'waterproof' and the 'sealskinz' logo on the left hand side of the brim and front left of the hat respectively. I note that some reviewers say they received hats without these logos/words.

Works really well!
Really is 100% waterproof so far! Great lightweight cap, not warm which is good for spring and autumn days. Not too deep which is a nice change, most caps come right down to my eyebrows (I have a small head). There is slight coloration change from a line part way down the cap. Not super noticeable at first glance. Not a big issue as the rest of the cap is near perfect!

Looks good and waterproof!
After being outside for over 1 hour in torrential rain I can say this product is definitely waterproof! Rain just drips off the peak. My work colleagues love the look of it and constantly ask me where I bought it from and how much. Not cheap but looks good, fits fantastically and waterproof too.

A good cap rather than a great one
From autumn to early spring I wear a cap or hard hat while working outdoors. I used to wear one when walking the hills but changed to wearing a Jeep style beanie that "Radar" used to wear in M*A*S*H* because the former kept being blown off unless it was adjusted to be too tight. The cap I am wearing is made of poly-cotton and is reasonably comfortable for being worn most of the working day because where the peak rests on the forehead, its curvature mimics my forehead near enough, plus, there is a slight padding. IN comparison this Sealskinz's peak horizontal curvature in plan view does not match my forehead curvature and that there is no padding. Consequently it is not as comfortable to wear. However, I am still keeping this Sealskinz because it has waterproof laminate and will be good in a down pour (but just hope there won't be strong winds at the same time as it will not be comfortable to adjust it to be tight enough not to be blown away). If and when it is blowing a blizzard middle of winter, my go-to hat is still the Tilley Wool hat. Once the ear flaps are pulled down, front tipped down and I go head down against the wind, it doesn't get blown off in a Force 4 while walking the hills. Thus 4 stars for this Sealskinz. Do bear in mind we are not comparing like with like as the Tilley can be 4 times the price of this Sealskinz.
