Helps your cat eat better
Great product. It works well to help my elderly cat eat his food better. I also got him one for his water bowl. Sturdy and stable design. Easy to clean. Definitely recommend this.

Buy this as bundle and get the bowl too!
So many bowls, so many stands. Look no further, this set will be the one you buy and keep. Don't bother just buying one at a time, the bundle gets you both the stand and the spill-proof bowl at a lower price. Impressive, high quality for all items. The stand is of a substantial and hard melamine with the added touch of having a rubberized bottom (brilliant!). The stand also comes with a slip-proof silicone liner to hold the bowl in place (brilliant!). Then there is the bowl. So many good qualities such as its large size, the curvature of the bowl, the varying height of low in the front and high in the back, the ridges on the bottom and its heft (brilliant again!). This is by no means a lightweight and flimsy ceramic bowl. At every feature I was impressed, "huh, it's as if I had designed it". Maybe they're mind-readers! Needless to say, kitty has zero issue--just a bit scared on the first serving, but don't worry the food will win out. And I have no more issue of clean-up of all the pieces of food that got pushed out of the flatter and shallow bowl. Whiskers do not touch. Highly recommend. And no, I am not friends of the owner, nor did I get a commission (although that is not a bad idea). :)

Perfect for our older cats
Lifts the bowl for our elderly, arthritic cats. Cut a round piece of silicon mat to keep the ceramic bowl from sliding around. Works perfectly!

Raised pet food tray
This is exactly what I have been looking for. It's super sturdy, excellent quality, lightweight, it's exactly as pictured. The price was right as well. I use it to set my cats food bowls on and it's perfect. My cats are happy I'm happy.

So helpful for my senior cat - HUGE advantage
My cat is just about 18, later this month. Only started realizing how helpful a raised dish (not this platform - a simple ceramic bowl, at first) would be - only a handful of years ago.Made a huge difference for his comfort right away. Would be true for ANY age cat or dog, even though the realization took me many years, until he was older. He has only ever eaten his wet food off a plate, never a bowl. Call us all crazy, but he too is a creature of "used to be, has to stay". He won't even try to eat his wet food from a bowl, nor from a stainless steel or ceramic plate surface. Got used to the disposable plate situation I started with him almost a couple decades ago.POINT IS - this raised platter perfectly raises his plate to an ideal and comfortable level and keeps it absolutely secure from moving, without impeding his access at all. Once again, the relief for him was instantly obvious. It's not a porous or bendable type plastic material. Completely sturdy and So easy to clean and keep it that way. And for our purposes, the grips on edge of the platter are the perfect size to hold the bottom diameter of the plates I use for his canned food. No slipping or moving around at all. Just a really helpful product.EXTRA HELPFUL INFO ABOUT RAISED DISHES: It didn't take long before I realized the benefits of additional feature of the ceramic type individual raised bowls- I replaced initial bowls with almost same, but newly designed with a "lipped" inside edge which helps him scoop up each piece. Never having to deal with a little piece of food scooting along the dish, bowl, or plate - as he attempted a few times to pick up just one piece sometimes.

Good, but Sometimes Overpriced...
I really appreciate this raised platform for its functionality and simplicity, and even for its aesthetic value. It has worked well for our elderly cats, who benefit from raised feeders. Its solid but lightweight, but not so light that it tips over if you bump into it. I can place any of their dishes on it, and they all fit. I also like the variety of colors. My only issue with it is that I don't know why it fluctuates so much in price. I have paid $12.99 for one of them in the past, and I think that is a reasonable price (actually, I don't think these things should cost more than $9.99, they are literally just a piece of plastic). I have also paid $19.99 for one, and it is DEFINITELY NOT worth that much. Today, it was being sold for $15.99, which I paid, but I do feel that this is too much. Had it been $12.99 again, I would have purchased 2 more today instead of 1, and had it been $9.99, I would have bought 3 or 4 today. If the price goes any higher than $15.99 again, I will start placing the cats' dishes on small boxes or on a couple of thick books! But for now, I'm glad they exist and are sold at this price or lower...

Great raiser for cat dishes
Our one cat is getting older and was not eating like himself. After some research, I learned about whisker fatigue, and decided to go for a raised and flatter dish to feed him on. It definitely helped! They are easy to pick up and clean. We use dishes on top so we do not have to clean the pedestal as often. We did not purchase Cat Guru brand toppers, but these other stainless steel plates from Amazon. These dishes fit pretty well on top of the Cat Guru, but there is a bit of gap around the edge of the plate, so especially our kittens sometimes get a piece or two of kibble stuck there. It also means that if they’re licking pate or wet food, it can get pushed and smooshed to the edge. Our trick is to smoosh their pate a bit onto the dry food so it stays more in the middle. Our older cat was having some teeth issues as well, so we traded the stainless steel plates for paper plates from ALDI. These are a PERFECT size, as the bottom of the plate fits snug in the Guru and the lip hangs over the edge, preventing food from getting stuck. The only thing is that paper plates are wasteful, so I also tried these blue kids plates from Target (50¢ each!). These are slightly too big, but it still works. I also choose them because our oldest needs special wet and dry food, but the dry food gets soggy very easily and then he won’t eat it, so the divided compartments work perfectly for that.

Works. Great for elderly Persian cat
My cat is a super senior and the elevated height and flatness helps her eat comfortably. Have purchased multiples.
