It is NOT a how to book if you are looking for how to make tiles.it is a great compilation of tiles made with different techniques.STYLES are also presented with wonderful photos of iconic places in the world.CUERDA SECA, very difficult to find bibliography on, is dealt with at length.But here again, do not expect to be taught how to work with cuerda seca.The book is a great photo gallery of TILE, as the title reads. I love it and go back to it for inspiration

Good book. I saw this at the pottery where I go for lessons and wanted to own my own copy for reference.

Tile book is very good. It answered questions on tile designs and patterns. Would recommend to one who is interested in tiles.

This is an inspiring look at how tile is pure art, and a look into the soul of a culture. Color, life, beauty, expression--both the material and the book have it all.
