When Beavis and Butt-Head first appeared on MTV more than a decade ago, critics dismissed them as brainless couch potatoes who did nothing but watch TV and make lewd jokes about bodily functions. Today we know they were ahead of their time. Beavis and Butt-Head's unique idiocy profoundly changed television, movies, pop culture and the world. This historic box set, personally edited by creator Mike Judge, includes their finest episodes, specials, promos and guest appearances that so enriched a grateful and stupid nation.

These are GREAT Coherent episodes.
This came in great condition. Played perfectly, the case and cover are in great shape. Many people complain about these videos not being as good as the Originals because they do not have the music videos and B&B commentaries going on through them.Honestly, I have watched the "true" B&B videos on line and I find them to be fair episodes. But not great. The music videos take so much from the short stories that they are telling that is wrenches me out of the episode. What he has done is removed the music videos and edited the stories to be full coherent ones.I like that.Sure, some of their comments during the music videos are funny. And seeing the music videos takes me back. But when I am trying to enjoy Beavis and Butt-Head themselves...well.So, I love these videos.I just wish that Mike Judge would do this same thing with all of the episodes produced (It would be nice if he could do one that has been unedited for the purists, too. but trying to get the legal rights to every single music video from his series is a legal nightmare. But I think that he would do well releasing all of his B&B episodes for us).

Not as funny as I remember
Well, hard to believe, I actually think of this show as "retro." I MUST be getting old!Ever see a movie, when you were a kid, and remember it as the most awesome, funniest, greatest move, show, or whatever, in the world? Well, that's not how I remember this show. Not to mention, I wasn't a kid, I was in my 20's or so. But I did remember this show being fairly hilarious! Not so, this viewing. I actually thought it was a show that was 1/2 hour (23 minutes with commercials) but actually this is a collection of 25 or so small nibbles of sound and bodily function jokes. Yes, it is hilarious, yes, it made me laugh, but it wasn't the way I remember laughing.I will say this: this is certainly the best formula for the PSP. And it hits the right audience. 15 - 25 year olds, who love to laugh at silly little shows. And in small, bite size pieces, which can be consumed in short wait times. Wow! What a great UMD in that frame of reference.I recommend this if you are under 25, and male. And own a PSP. Other than that, pass on this one.MC White said: Its a'iight!

agree
I strongly agree with the other reviewes about the show not being as funny as it was when I was a kid, but I still like it and I still laugh. The animation was choppy and these umds dont have the videos that the comment on.
