Dorman 696-133 Engine Air Intake Hose Compatible with Select Ford/Lincoln Models

Exact replacement for the Ford Taurus air filter box, i had accidentally broken off the plastic tab for the hose that it attaches to not realizing it. Purchased this one to hopefully fix that issue and sure enough this one fit exactly onto it. I have a 2013 SEL Taurus with the V6.

If you change the engine air filter you need to be carful of the hose conection on this intake hose it snaps off pretty easy then youll need a new one.The new one is a direct fit.

This Dorman aftermarket part fits and functions as OEM. I would have given it 5 stars but one of the clamps on the engine side of the intake hose was not the right one. They installed the air filter clamp on the engine side with the fastener pointing down. You can never tighten it when its on the engine. The clamps are not interchangeable as there are tabs on the hose to keep the clamp from rotating as you tighten it. Luckily I was able to use the clamp from the original hose that cracked. Assemblers need to pay better attention.

Bought this for 2013 Explorer with the 3.5L engine. Installation was very easy, although I did have to rearrange one if the hose clamps that came with adjusting screw on the bottom.
