This clip is made very well, its hard plastic and has a stiff clip that doesn't slip easily. It is a bit difficult to un-clip the phone from the holster if you're trying to answer a call and a bit bulky so you can easily bump it when its clipped to a waistband or pocket, but definitely durable.

The product claims to be "Heavy Duty", but compared to my Otter Box holster for my personal cell phone this Beyond Cell holster is half the thickness. It feels flimsy and brittle like something made from recycled plastic. Medium duty at best. I'm sure with good care it will last a while but I was expecting much thicker (dense) plastic product. If it breaks I'll update this review. I would buy this product again if it sold for $8, not the $18 (+ S&H) I paid for it.Update 8-28-2015: The product just broke. It almost lasted a month. As I suspected the plastic is cheap and broke off at the swivel where the phone housing attaches to the belt clip. One of the two tabs that hold the pieces together broke. I'm going to Home Depot and get a universal commercial phone holder. Fits my Sonim XP5600 Bolt 2 IS with larger batter, however, it has to be screen facing towards clip vice facing away. I don’t mind as I believe this will help protect the screen from items I may bump up against. The only drawback I currently see with this holster is the plastic mounting point of the belt clip to the phone case. Very flimsy and can already see this being the primary failure point.

After only one day of use it broke. This is the third one I bought and all three of them broke.

Just as advertised. I use this for my Sonim Strike. Highly recommend that you make sure you are ordering on Amazon but it's from Beyond Cell.

bought this 02/16/15 it is now 7/29/15 it broke today came completely apart.. If I didnt have this awful sonim work phone I wouldn't buy another holder for this crappy phone. the holder is a piece of china crap!!!!!!!!! an UPDATE on this piece of crap phone holder.. the one I just bought broke here is what it looks like in pieces.. DAMN CHINEESEPIECE OF CRAP.... DO NOT BUY THIS .Dont waste your money... look around for something made some where else...JUST SAYING!!!!!!!!!

Great holster for my work phone (which sucks), this Sonim phone is garbage but the holster is nice. Way too expensive, though.
