The smell is AMAZING, exactly like lilacs in Spring! I find things just so I can wash my hands. It suds very well without needing an excessive amount, rinses without leaving a residue or dry tightness. I wash my hands a tad more than normal due to my auto immune too. I found it to clean off pretty much anything I get into. Dirt, grass stains, charcoal, some types of grease and today it removed my chainsaw 50/1 mixture. It leaves the room smelling wonderful but not over powering like perfume. A man could enjoy this too. You would think it is a high end soap, so excellent value for the price!. Con—the dispenser, the company has the worst in my book. It leaves drips and trails at the end of each pump, so you need a small dish underneath or transfer into a better dispenser. Highly recommend this scent and any Meyers product.

I absolutely love this Mrs. Meyer's - Lilac Scented Hand Soap; so much so, that I have used it in the shower on my face and whole body in place of shower gel. The scent is very soft, not over-powering, and extremely pleasant, yet it lingers for quite a while. This hand soap works well, feels nice on my skin, and doesn't dry my skin out. As a bonus, this scent brings back happy childhood memories of lilac bushes in bloom. I also really like the ingredients that are used to make this product. I highly recommend this product.

Growing up on Long Island, the scent of lilacs were common - and it was my favorite flower - even when I grew up and got my first apartment in Brookly, there was a giant lilac bush between my apartment and the X27 bus stop. And it just scent this heavenly aroma through the neighborhood. Now I did not know that lilacs need the cold winters to produce that smell - and I have been in Floriduh for 15 years - so southern lilacs have NO scent. Not only is this produce spot on in the scent, it's natural and not fake, it's so much cheaper here than in the supermarket or the drugstore. Love Mrs. Meyers and I stocked up on the lilac scented everything!

I love this brand! The hand soap smells amazing; sometimes I wish I could bathe in it. It leaves my hands clean and it does not dry my skin. This is the only hand soap we buy at our home.

It's not moisturizing but it smells clean.
