I use this before my surgery that I had. It was one of the best tasting pre-surgery options to uptake my protein was not bad at all. And easy to keep down.

Worked great for my husband when he got his top teeth removed and started the process of wearing dentures. Knowing the idea that he is still able to get the nutrients he needs while not being able to eat any solid foods. I would highly recommend I even used it after my breast augmentation to help me recover faster and it did make a huge difference!

Preparing for back surgery, I was told to drink 2 pre-ops a day for 7 days before and 7 days after surgery. Was also told to drink 1 bottle of pre-surgery just before my fasting period. This package includes 20 preop and 3 pre surgery. If I followed doctor instructions exactly, I'd have to supplement this order with additional preop bottles as I consumed 14 the first week and only had 6 left for post-op. Did not bother with any additional purchases, just killed the remainder. The pre-op taste was really not that bad. On my first day, I blended the drink with ice to form a shake but after that just drank the bottle straight. It kind of grows on you! The package supplies 3 pre surgery but I only needed 1. High yuck factor and had 2 bottles left over. All in all, not bad but excuse me for hoping I avoid future surgeries and don't buy this again!

This really works. Had 2 hip replacements at separate times.and used it due to recommendation from my provider. No issues what so ever. I think that is the goal for your immune system.

My surgeon recommended these before my knee surgery, I got the set and did the pre and post program. I don't know how much they helped in my recovery but the additional protein and nutrients probably didn't hurt. Worth a shot if you want to maximize your recovery, and they don't taste too bad.
